Yeah the first scene is definitely missing some context, Kevin is a recurring character, and before he loses his virginity he's your stereotypical teenager, completely unreasonable and rude towards his parents. One shag was all it took to transform him!

They went on to make a film around the Kevin character (Kevin & Perry go Large). It's very silly and puerile, but has one of the best soundtracks of any film ever! (At least if you're into late 90's house music anyway!).

There’s a series of Harry Enfield sketches in the same vain as Know Your Limits, all called ‘Mr Cholmondley-Warner…’ taking the proverbial out of the old public information films. Excellent stuff 😁
