Happy Weekend guys! This one was chosen by my top tier patrons. And I must correct myself, Mark Gatiss and Tim McInnerny are not the same person, even though they look alike! 😆

I'm glad you enjoyed it, i love Inside no9 as well. Mark Gatiss was doing Sherlock, Doctor Who and being in Game of Thrones when it started or he would have probably been in it as well (although he is in one episode).

Unexpected surprise, but a welcome one! The filming location for Royston Vasey isn't a million miles away from where I live. Filmed in the town of Hadfield, Derbyshire. It's very difficult not to throw in the occasional line "We're not local." whenever we happen to be passing through.

Ah fair enough! He’s quite the busy actor. I forgot he was in GoT!

Another place to come to when your visiting the East Midlands, y'know.. that and the rest of Derbyshire haha

Years ago, during an election campaign, one of the candidates where I was living used the slogan “a local candidate for local people” I was fairly sure this wasn’t an intentional reference

I was willing you to say "three" of them. There was obviously 3 of them, Mark Gatiss being the third, written of Sherlock, Doctor Who, Dracula and more, arguably the most talented of the three and an accomplished stage actor

I originally thought he was Tim MicInnerny! 😅 I think I'm so used to seeing Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton from Inside Number 9 it went a bit over my head that they was a third! Yes, Mark Gatiss is also very talented! :)

There is a fourth member who writes too but doesn't appear on screen, his name is Jeremy Dyson.

Number nine was about 10 years after The league of gentleman
