(My personal opinion!). Bernard Manning was a very good storyteller and constructor of jokes, and had some pretty good jokes about racial issues. Unfortunately in his later days he just seemed to turn into a very bigoted and reactionary person. He even openly admitted he was a racist on a late 90's show, The Mrs Merton Show.

The Mrs Merton show with him on os a good but uncomfortable watch. I believe you should be allowed to joke about anything, but Imo he was a vile unapologetic racist both on and off stage, he did have good timing but sadly used it for lazy racism masquerading as comedy. Rob, yeah, totally agree. Nothing should be off limits in comedy (in my opinion it's a very important art form for that!). But if you're going to use your platform to spout lazy shit and target vulnerable groups then expect some backlash. Free speech works both ways!

You should have googled Manning before you posted him on your channal as this person is not liked here, and you could scare pepole away from your channal or attract the wrong type of fan.
