For me this is in my top 5 all time episodes of only fools and horses and the scene at the end is so moving, you will see why in the second episode of series 4. It's good to get some back story and in this you can see the love Del and Rodders have for each other.

I can see why! Yes, backstory is definitely important.

I'm glad your watching this from the beginning and in order, as the story line is very important as it progresses. Some reactors watch it out of order and it doesn't make sense.
