Hi Megan. Yes you really need to watch Taskmaster & 8 out of 10 cats does countdown to understand what is going on in those clips. Bob is quite a legend on these types of show. He also appears regularly on ‘Would I lie to you’ which is definitely worth a look if you have never seen it. Loving the summer weather we are currently experiencing!

I first saw Bob in the early 90's with long time comedy partner Vic Reeves in their off the wall TV shows. 8 out of 10 cats does countdown is a good show and Carrot in a box was from it. Would love to say I was enjoying the weather but the Sun doesn't like me, I get heat exhaustion, but I did enjoy the cold beers I had yesterday afternoon. Hope you are enjoying the hot weather Megan.

The game show with the letters and numbers games is called Countdown, which is on in the afternoons week days (it was a favourite of students back in the day). There is a comedy version, which is what you saw, called 8 out of 10 cats do Countdown.

ahh yes, 8 out of 10 cats! That's where carrot in the box is from! I should watch a full episode. Watching clips is a bit confusing at times 😅
