SEAN

Hello Megan yes Father Ted is a serious favourite for a lot of us and i have noticed other reactor channels also agree even after going through 100s of other tv programming when asked what has been your favourite thing you watched Father Ted is usually mentioned so hopefully yo will keep watching until the end of the series.

MeganRuth

Hi Sean!! I can see why!! I don't remember ever laughing so hard at a series! I will definitely keep watching it :)

Simon

You are right about them being archetypes. It's hard to overstate how important the church was in Ireland and this was mocking all the types of bad priest.

MeganRuth

Ah yes I know how religious Ireland was!! I can definitely see the mockery in this show for sure.

Simon

The show was interesting because it reflected what a lot of people thought but hadn't dare say up to that point

Hi Megan, I’m veeeery late to this party lol - only just getting into Patreon myself, thanks so much for the reaction. I love this show and great to see other people enjoying it too. You did really well to follow this as some of the humour can be quite niche, I’m from Yorkshire in England and even some things aren’t immediately obvious to me but as others have said this is a brilliant show and I’m looking forward to re-watching it with you :)

MeganRuth

Hi Craig! Welcome! Happy to have you here :)
