Love this episode, by this point they were really nailing the mix of comedy and thoughtful/emotional moments which made Porridge so good. And yeah, topless models in newspapers (or 'page 3 girls'), were a thing. And not just in the seventies, some papers still had them only about 5 years ago! British tabloid newspapers are odd!

The Sun only stopped page 3 girls in 2017, Daily Star in 2019, the Sunday Sport still has it! The Sunday Sport can hardly be called a newspaper though (same for The Sun & Daily Star).

Weirdly it does! Not sure who's buying it these days (though I openly admit to buying a few copies during my teenage years so I can't judge!)

Good epidode enjoyed it another tv show you should consider watching its not a comedy its called doctor who its one of the longest shows ever going into its 60th celebration this year
