Not funny to me. I agree. I adore a lot of British humor, and I loved Tate in Doctor Who years ago, but when it goes for just shock value I'm inclined to run back to American humor.

That's fair! I also think having drunk humour can be a little cheap to me. Unless it's done more creatively. Two Ronnies drunk wedding speach comes to mind!
