There is a sweet moment at the start of this episode that a lot of people including myself for many years miss. Rodney actually did give Del a father's day card, acknowledging him as his father. After all he did raise him.

My grandfather told me some funny stories of his time as a nurse in the royal navy which involved someone mooring against the flagship to deliver the captain and not using the correct terminology, instead the friend shouted in front of the Admirals and other high ranking officers "let go of the bloody thing" 😂
