A couple of weeks ago I found out my father died. We've been out of contact for years, for a lot of reasons, and now that he's gone, there's a lot that I'm having to deal with.

Not a whole lot I have to physically leave to deal with, but this is really not shit I want to deal with now or ever, but this is the situation I'm in right now.

As a result, I'm taking a bit of a break to process everything. I've been resisting it for a while, but I'm accepting that this is the best thing to do right now. I'm not going anywhere, but I wanted everyone to know that I've got a lot going on in my personal life that is definitely impacting my ability to work, and if I don't give myself some time it's only going to get worse.

I will be back with more updates. There is a lot I'm working on, and I hate to stop things to deal with this, but everything will be better in the long run if I do.

Sorry to hear that friend. Take all the time you need, we’ll be here when you get back. Even being disconnected from a parent for years, losing them isn’t any easier. Wishing you well and sending love and positive vibes your way, much love my friend

This might come off as cold but its an important piece of advice make sure there's a will in place because otherwise the situation will be a pain because you will possibly have to go to court over whatever your father had and if you aren't careful the state could take everything i had to go through something similar with another relative finding a will made things much easier.
