Can I ask why? I get this from time to time and I just don't see why people like the less refined version.

I've been wondering why people constantly tell you to revert back and I might think I know why. It could be some feel your style has gotten more "cartoony"? I'm not 100% sure as this is purely a hypothesis... Just keep doing what ya doing cause the girls still look sexy X3

I really appreciate you taking the time to explain things, but this is why it's so confusing for me when people say this. You're not the first. Here's the thing, I don't see how it's more cartoony when I'm using references now and before I wasn't. The proportions before were exaggerated which is way more cartoony then using a body reference. Hell the hands in the old picture are on BACKWARDS. The ears she has now are closer to her original launch ears than the one in the old pic. What is there are tiny in comparison to her old ears. Her breasts are smaller than any of her versions, and the nipples in the 2008 picture look like she got a botched boob job. Believe it or not when I launched this face most people HATED it and complained how it looked nothing like Rio. There were a few fans, but every single time I work on Rio I get backlash for what I change. As an artist I am always striving to make improvements in anatomy, it's important that I keep striving to be better. Going back doesn't improve my skills.
