The end of an Era brings the start of something new! These were the top 3 winners from our YouTube poll. We hope you'll consider sticking around for one. 😊This vote is to choose our next anime. Thank you so much for your input!-Haylo & Kiss 💕

Rayn

For me out of the three death note and fullmetal alchemist are the best shows so hopefully one of those two win

FatherWeeb

Oh no! I didn't care for any of these three 😔 That's okay though, I'll be here for whatever it is

brobed1

You need to do more episodes of One piece!

Xanakone SPT

I know people gonna vote for JJK but I was hoping for 'My hero academia' or 'Naruto' for long run

Brenin 1911

I hope Vinland Saga for sometime in the future, i guess you both would love it 😌✌🏻

John Paul

JJK for sure 👍.

Will

Jujutsu Kaisen for sure, but I have a feeling you guys will particularly enjoy FMAB - I hope that one comes next after JJK :)

Uluru

JJK YAY

Daaylen Watson

Have you both ever thought about reacting to Game Of Thrones and House Of The Dragon? Jujutsu Kaisen is great, It's going to be interesting reacting to this the first couple episodes lol.

Tristen O'Bannon

It’s gonna be JJK unless the FMA and Death Note fans join up. We’re splitting votes here

Chop Chop Chopper

Can't believe people vote for JJK when the second GOAT anime is on the list. Guys common. FMA is the heart

Kyla Munoz

I choose Death Note because it will be so fun to see how you ladies react to all the twists and turns. It’s also the shortest among the three and therefore the quickest and easiest to finish. The other two will still be there after you finish Death Note. You can then move on to them. 😊 Besides, Death Note is a classic. You just can’t not watch anime classics. 🥺

Sean Carroll

Bruh Jjk is not it, so many kids here it seems

Dank Waifu

Jujutsu Kaisen for sure but Desth Note is a much watch Anime classic.

Manro

maybe a movie like a silent voice or your name!

Lasse
>>141453889

i love also fma but jjk is more modern and compressed und you get more reactionable content/emotions imo

CacoMetal

My hero academia? 😗

Raias

FMA is a must watch, Anime of the decade.

2026-09-09 22:00 Can you guys please react to the openings and endings for Attack on Titan?.?
2024-06-21 14:10

Nervous

I really think a 1v1 run-off poll would have very different results here lol

Purple Pumpkin

FMAB allthe way. JJK is cool and all, but Fullmetal has SOUL. Some of the best written characters out there

Elly Morcillos

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is it, no matter what the poll says.

RawrSaur

No Hazbin Hotel? xD It's a short 1 season joyful watch - just what the doctor ordered after Attack On Titan :) But if you want to go with an anime next, I'd probably recommend FMA as it's an anime classic which I think I'd prioritize watching over the newer animes (which are equally as good some of them, it's just the viewer experience IMO is better going from FMA to Jujutsu Kaisen instead of the other way around).

Eastblue

Voting for JJK so they can get it out of the way sooner and then start watching something good.

WhynefineT

JJK is very good. Especially the characters they are super fun.

Spaced

JJk is pretty mid to me personally, hope to see FMAB

Andy

dang it, was hoping for vinland saga

RCG

all 3 of them are very good. no wrong answers

Sariel E

Yessss. Jujutsu Kaisen is the only sane way to go.

‎
>>141454021

You're not different for not liking popular things

beannie

omg these are all iconic animes, I’m so excited!! I wish yall could watch or add a slot for a romance anime in the future! based on your reactions I feel like you guys would absolutely love them! something like ouran high school host club for example lmao

tinegab remulla

How tf did death note get the least votes?

Johnny

FMAB is at least finished and one of those anime that her recommended even though it old. JJK is of course amazing too but only 2 Seasons out + 1 film. I'm fine with both but FMAB is just legendary

Othman Almusaileem

Am fine with jjk and death note, but definitely not full metal..

Cosmic Ghidorah

Death Note & Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood are essential viewing for anime watchers - and I think you'd have great reactions to both. But after AOT, I think Fullmetal Alchemist would be best.

Adrian

Damn sad to see JJK is leading this. Death note would be my choice. Since your already reacting to demon slayer and one piece, death note is the only show here that is completely different.

Andrea D.

JJK gets so much hype, personally, I couldn't really get into it. FMAB and Death Note would be really good choices, but if it's JJK I'll still have 3 OP uploads per week, so I'll be happy either way <3

Cosmic Ghidorah

Gotta be Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood!

Baker

Voted FMAB. I highly expect JJK to win though because it's currently just more popular in the mainstream. That being said, while I love JJK it's just not FMAB tier when it comes to narrative and themes. Hopefully you react to both eventually regardless.

Ikado

React all of them. Start with Full Metal Alchemist

Phillip

no duds here whatever wins it should be good

Epsilox

All 3 solid choices. FMAB is an all timer, death note is great and I've not gotten around to jjk yet so would be cool to watch along with you.

Rania '

JJK has to win! 🫡

elgranero

If you start Jujutsu Kaisen you will most certainly be caught up right before season 3 start next year! (S2 was PEAAAAAK)

Logizmo

Honestly JJK being most voted makes me sad. It's an amazing shonen with top notch fights that no other anime comes close to, but the story is painfully mediocre and the author HEAVILY relies on Deus Ex Machinas to make the story flow in the way he wants rather than how it should naturally flow. Not to mention the anime is easily 3-5 years until it's fully finished. Really hope you guys wait until JJK is further along before starting it. My vote is for Fullmetal Alchemist because before Attack on Titan, FMA was considered the anime with the best storyline of them all

JaylenXD

Recency bias; Jjk wins every poll

lo

Can’t believe Death Note is last😭😭

LY

Haikyuu!

Art

This is great all 3 animes are fantastic

oxo99
>>141455189

FMAB would be a much better follow up for AoT as well imo. It's just got tonnes of heart and i'd say it's good therapy haha

Mincer

How on earth is Death Note last wth

MishkaTho

JJK haters are usually the same that proposes Death Note dubbed 🤮

Stan

I'd say if you want to live an adventure, FMA Brotherhood and Death Note are masterpieces of storytelling. Like Attack on Titans, you can see how things connect from the first episode to the end, so in that sense they're first-rate anime. FMA is more about philosophy and the value of life, Death Note is about morality, justice and revenge. JJK is more of a classic shonen, well written, with cool characters, but it's much more focused on animation and fighting. It definitely sets a standard for action-based anime. I think you should make your own choice based on that.

Zasshu

If somehow FMA ends up winning I'd REALLY recommend checking the 2003 adaptation, at least for the first arcs. Brotherhood assumes the audience is already familiar with the story so it breezes trough the earlier part of the story and honestly it doesn't hold a candle to the old adaptation in terms of pacing, tone and directing.

Zasshu

Also, I'd recommend checking 86/EIGHTYSIX. Shonen anime is good for starters and all, but you already have Demon Slayer to cover the "light and fun shonen action" category. 86 is a real tearjerker of a story, insanely well directed and with amazing payoffs, I'm sure you girls will love it!

MAY

Shoulda been Frieren, would have been nice to have a wholesome anime after AoT, but I guess One Piece will have to do 😌

Cisco

JJK, we need more trauma

Francisco Yang
>>141455582

Season 2 is probably one of the best seasons in the current gen of anime. The storyline overall definitely isn’t the best, but there’s a reason why it’s highly rated. The music, animation, and connection to the characters are top notch. I do hope they watch it (and based on the poll, they definitely will), there’s no point in waiting, and if anything it’ll make them be more interested in anime.

Stan
>>141456350

I agree that the 2003 animation puts you in a different mood and does some things better (and some worse), but you definitely don't need to watch it to get a good understanding of FMAB. Brotherhood is the animation of the source material, so the pacing is exactly as the author intended.

Reginald

DEATH NOTE!!!!!!

Brendan Falvy

JJK is still going and season 2 finished not long ago, so FMA might be the sensible choice to start off since it is complete. Or Death Note, but I think Fullmetal Alchemist is better.

Ibrahim

Come on death note

Pop

Please death note or FMA, JJK is uh....getting boring

Nagash

All good tbh, but since its more recent, jjk will win

Isaiah

Vinland Saga

crabcreamsoup

if you enjoy watching dark fantasy like AOT, i think you would like TOKYO GHOUL as well!!! next poll maybe?😁 PLEASE

inspirit llama

please go with fmab eventually even if it doesn't win this time!! it's such quality storytelling with amazing characters and plot. you'll fall in love with it

Pop
>>141457239

I read the manga way further than the anime many would agree with me that the writing is getting weird 😔

Gustavo Marozzi

Please consider Boku no Hero Academia :)

Rockycitygirl
>>141457239

season 1 is good and season 2 even better, so they shoulnd watch it because it might get boring in future seasons ? :s

Irene

Plzzzzzzzzz jujutsu kaisen

Zasshu
>>141456350

I hardly disagree, the pacing in Brotherhood is not bad, but compared to 2003 it doesn't allow the audience to have the same emotional payoff in the Nina arc for example. I agree you don't need to watch it but Brotherhood just offers a watered down experience of the earlier arcs imo

William Morales
>>141457558

JJK has more younger fans and its still coming out so it's in right now. Death Note is older so I doubt it'll win. Still an amazing series.

Daaylen Watson
>>141457537

Maybe he just means in terms of like grittiness and somewhat dark. But Tokyo Ghoul is pretty far down the list of MUST WATCH animes lol. This is coming from a hardcore tokyo ghoul fan, But the studio that handled it sucked lol. 1st season really the only good content.

Pop
>>141457239

Yes because story that brings to nowhere would just bring disappointment

Daaylen Watson
>>141457239

I don't understand the death note hype at all, Never really thought the show was all that good.

steven cabral

Probably biased since I haven’t seen jjk, but I can’t understand how death note and FMAB are trailing it. These are the closest to AOT quality story wise(both goats)I voted for FMAB since after the emotional tole and roller coaster of AOT it would be lighter and more fun hearted (at least compared to death note) it’s a shame as how others have mentioned people are splitting the vote between death note and FMAB when most would vote either or

crabcreamsoup
>>141457537

well i was talking about the genre, aot is definitely wayyy up there even if i try to compare it with other anime (except the big 3)

assthetic

vote for death note ot FMAB. jjk has no plot 🤢

Daniel
>>141455189

Just watched a few episodes of JJK and I get that it will probably win, because it's the current hype anime. I wasn't hooked after the episodes I've watched and would highly enjoy a reaction to FMAB. I think it's right up there with AOT.

steven cabral
>>141457239

Everyone is entitled to their preference and opinion absolutely. However to say how you can’t understand the hype….

William Morales
>>141455189

Agreed and the dub in my opinion is right up there in terms of quality with Cowboy Bebop. Truly great performances that not many shows have been able to measure up to.

notaname grimes

I think yall would really get into Vinland saga, amazing show

Enchiladas

Jjk is carried by its animation

lissa

People saying not to watch JJK is wrong like that’s yalls opinions don’t comment negative stuff just so they can avoid watching it?? It’s popular for a reason so many other reactors love it and I’m sure the girls would as well and plus it’s their choice choosing so just leave it up to them. people saying there’s no plot. There is plot. Them also saying it’s all younger gen as well like no it’s not ☠️

William Morales
>>141454021

Meh I have to agree though. The story has gotten pretty wacky in the manga. It's animated beautifully though it wasn't enough to keep my attention.

Rockycitygirl
>>141459514

same could be said for demon slayer, but is that a bad thing to have good animation ? i enjoy shows with good animation, even tho its obviously not the only factor, or even the most important one

Akpo

Please watch jujutsu kaisen overall plot is interesting (not on the same level as aot or death note) but it’s mainly carried by its stellar fights and interesting characters and villains :)

William Morales
>>141453787

Love Naruto but alongside One Piece they'll be reacting to it for years with no new series lol.

William Morales
>>141457239

There's nothing worse than committing to a series and then be disappointed with poor writing.

Freeofgreed

Oof, all good shows. I would be happy with any of the 3.

Freeofgreed

Also there was a youtube poll? Lol.

PKS
>>141457558

Death Note is short and after AOT only that can keep the pace, otherwise storywise everything will drop you 10 floor down.

ricky l

Not putting vinland saga in this poll is a crime

PKS
>>141457636

I think they should do, Death Note short, then JJK 2 seasons only, and then full send to FMAB

Freeofgreed
>>141457558

Hopefully the watch all 3. Death note would be good to start with since it's shorter.

William Morales
>>141456287

I've had a real hard time getting into the JJK characters for some reason. I'm not sure if it's the pacing or the writing. I want to like it because it's really well animated and I think the powers are creative but it's really missing something for me.

Ben Asay
>>141459514

Shows don't get carried.. there's just people that don't like shows and so they try to insult it. Just don't worry about it dude

Ben Asay
>>141459275

Doesn't sound like you know what plot means... 🙄 My first pic would have been Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, but JJK is cool too

zoisekai

try Anime movies as well. Definitely pick Your Lie in April ⭐

IKTR

Vinland Saga

Ser JohnY
>>141459133

JJK's got the power of recency bias on its side and is the big popular, normie battle shounen right now. Not that it's a bad show, I've seen JJK (and read the manga) and I enjoyed it greatly and would recommend it but yeah, it's not been out long enough or done enough to cement itself as a "classic" the way Death Note, FMAB and AoT have.

PO

I really don't think JJK is the best choice for you guys, even though it's one of my favorite anime right now. Something with a meaningful plot that makes you think would be better (AOT, Vinland Saga, Deathnote, FMAB, Frieren)....

Rockycitygirl
>>141457239

by that definition you cant watch any show that isnt completely finished because it might get boring or have a bad ending. hf waiting 5-10 years to start watching something also im pretty sure alot of people would argue that death note gets worse in the "2nd half"

Merfhew
>>141459696

@lissa - I'm not sure I understand. You say that the Patrons who want FMA or Death Note instead of JJK are wrong because "that's yalls opinions," but you're literally sharing your opinion, too. What makes your opinion more valid? I also don't understand why you're saying this is the girl's choice, not ours, when they've literally asked us to decide for them (hence the poll).

Aaron Herndon

I’d definitely do JJK and Death Note. I’m not the biggest FMA fan tbh. Not bad but mid for me personally. I know others would like that tho.

Zain kb

Jujutsu kaisen is soo good, s2 is hypee

Ben Asay
>>141455061

Why not? It's a great story. Great characters and it's not too long for them.. It's okay if you don't like it, but don't try to stop others from liking stuff. Just cuz you don't 🤷☺️

Merfhew
>>141459696

@Unknown - You're free to enjoy JJK, just as the people who enjoy other shows are free to enjoy those shows. Calling them "babies" for having a different opinion isn't the mature attitude you may think it is.

jackie strasser

I definitely don’t think JJK is the right pick for you guys, there is like no real plot or story to be followed 😅

Deived

Certainly Jujutsu Kaisen

Rafael García

omg why jjk, worst part to me is doing it after AOT, writing is not even close, just some nice shonen fights and some silly encounters. The only good thing I can think of is trendy with younger gen, so hopefully h&k fanbase will grow more.

Ben Asay
>>141454920

Personally, death Note was boring as f.. It's a OneNote story It's got good voice acting and animation, I've never understood how people put it on such a high pedestal 🤷🤷🤷

Merfhew

I'll never understand why people insist on turning these Patreon polls into such metaphorical bloodbaths. This could absolutely be a civil, respectful exercise, and yet, it almost never is. If the show you wanted isn't an option, maybe it will be next time. If someone voted differently than you, that's fine. Your opinion isn't more or less valid than someone else's, so you don't need to go on offense or defense.

Watt

The fandom of Death Note is bad, many reactors have been insulted and literally bullied by dumbasses who can't take opinions on the serie. So, even though it is a good anime, I would suggest watching it on your own, just to avoid the crazy that goes with it

Aleš Tichava

I would suggest anime called 86, Frieren or Kusuriya no Hitorigoto as next project. Definitely not JJK lol.

Rockycitygirl
>>141461329

people want to be right. if the show i like the most isnt voted 1st place then something has to be wrong, obviously!!!

Ben Asay
>>141454283

What's with people that get so critical with how different animes are, I just want to enjoy everything and I don't want to hear negativity.

Ben Asay
>>141454021

How has the manga gotten "wacky?" That makes no sense compared to what I know is going on

Merfhew
>>141461516

I feel like that can be said for most shows. The negativity and discourse in this thread seems to prove that every fandom has it's bad eggs.

Merfhew

Interesting. I didn't realize there was a YouTube poll. Did you mention this in a previous post and I missed it somehow? This seems to be a growing trend for Patreon channels (letting folks on YouTube decide on shows for Patreon members to pick from). I'm curious to see which shows failed to reach the cutoff for those of us on Patreon.

Tony Garcia

Death note would be way better than jjk. It’s quick and has a great story they would enjoy

Luke Wayman

Frieren would've been a better choice right after AOT, but that's just me. Maybe next time in the near future. You gals have a great time with JJK.

steven cabral

You guys are awesome and I thoroughly have enjoyed your hill house, BOB and AOT reactions( easily my favorite reactors for all 3) if I could just make a suggestion for future polls you might want to consider only having two options. Right now what’s causing a lot of annoyance from the comments is a battle between newer/younger anime watchers (mostly voting jjk) and older anime watchers( mostly voting the other two) im not saying young and old is the criteria I’m just generalizing. I think if you removed either of the older anime then the vote would be very close between the two options, rather than votes being split. Just my two cents. Either way I will give jjk a chance if that is what wins and will watch it! Cheers!

Pocketsleuth

Woo! Can't go wrong with any of these! I hope you both eventually get to watch Haikyuu, I know it's a show both of you will love!

Kiyoshi

thats so hard all 3 are so nice

louiekazooie

tbh I'll be sticking around for one piece anyway lol so whatever yall end up watching, I don't mind. I just rly hope yall get to watch fmab and death note at some point. They're both really good, self contained, and pretty short.

Dixydelightful

Darn, was really hoping for Made In Abyss or at least Frieren.

Arnold

Jujutsu Kaisen easily. The other two are great also but JJK is just too damn PEAK. Beware of comment sections though. JJK fan base is the worst when it comes to spoiling. Whether it's unintentional due to mansplaining or manga readers trying to correct you/guide you towards a more probable meaning of something. It's BAD

Baz Mehdi

While I enjoyed JJK, FMAB is a perfect show for these two to watch next. Great plot, great characters and also has a lot comedy that they’d appreciate.

Baz Mehdi

Also Vinland Saga over everything, but that’s not here so all good

Jay Jay

Yoooooo house do the dragon??????

Rockycitygirl
>>141462661

i think it would be closer for sure, but people would still complain, even with only 2 options available, 100% ive seen others even make really big polls with like 20 shows. dont know whats better, but people will argue anyway. i mean look at the amount of comments that try to suggest shows that arent even votable in this poll

kebiro

After AoT the most fitting would have been Vinland Saga tbh

Zain kb
>>141463798

yeah i’m afraid they will get spoiled, it’s hard now to not get spoilers, tiktok is full of jjk and what’s going on in the manga, even people who don’t watch it probably knows what happen 😭

Merfhew
>>141462060

Looks like the other choices on their YouTube poll were Frieren and One Punch Man.

Merfhew
>>141461560

Looks like Frieren was an option on their YouTube poll, but it came in 4th place (and One Punch Man came in 5th place).

Merfhew
>>141462327

Looks like Frieren was an option on their YouTube poll, but it came in 4th place (and One Punch Man came in 5th place).

ItsLuBu!!!!

I wish I could understand why jujutsu is as popular as it is. It’s like a solid 8/10

Horadriel

I would LOVE for you to watch brotherhood. That show is epic and heartwrenching, whilst also being wholesome. It really is your cup of tea imo

Merfhew
>>141460164

Apparently, there was. I was unaware, too. It had 5 choices, with the Top 3 coming to Patreon for a new poll. Frieren came in 4th place, and One Punch Man came in 5th.

Logizmo
>>141464980

It's fights are unmatched, that's really all there is and unfortunately most anime fans only care about fights. It's why there are so many popular isekai anime even though the story is trash they make the fights look good

BooDh1

I would LOVE house of the dragon

Merfhew
>>141463798

I loved S1 and the movie, but something about S2 killed my interest. As a result, I never watched any reactions... and yet, I still managed to get spoiled. I normally only get spoiled for the shows I'm super interested in, so I was shocked. I wish manga fans could be more respectful of anime-only fans.

owen

I know the poll result matters but you guys should seriously consider watching FMAB. The show has everything!

Rainy Days

The two I want to win are losing 😅

Rockycitygirl
>>141464980

because its a good show, you want to tell me that 8/10 isnt good enough to be considered watching ? i would rate dn and fma higher aswell, but how does that make jjk bad ? all 3 are great shows for their own reasons

Brandon Rodriguez
>>141464980

I’m not saying they should not watch it I’m just genuinely curious what people like about it that beats fmab.

Luke Wayman
>>141462327

I know I was surprised by that. All of em are good shows, but I thought it would come in at second.

LLawliet95

It has to be Death Note.

Kaden Koennecke

Jujutsu Kaisen or Death Note would be amazing. id be happy with either of those!

Cyber
>>141466062

Jjk is so over hyped and s2 made me want to tear my eyeballs out and question what I'm watching

Cyber
>>141463798

God I WISH someone mansplained jjk for me for the lack of better wording. The jump between season 1 and 2 was so jarring and the power systems just felt like last second explanations each time... And that's coming from someone who binged the show and had no gaps to forget stuff... Also gojo is the reason s2 and especially second arc felt like trash for me. Writer just kept writing themselves into a corner with that character's overpoweredness. 1 episode he's traveling across town instantly and having a chat with itadori first and banter in the middle of a jogo fight and the other he's like "but.. the treelike enemy is halfway across the forest waaa I can't make it in time waaa" and then the 0.2s thing like... Ok bruh, can the writer try to make some rules and commit to them ffs?

Rockycitygirl
>>141464980

there are lots of reasons. not that hard to understand why people like different stuff... mood, age, gender, personal preferences, genre, hype, pacing, quality animation/story, whatever you can imagine basically.. also this is just a small sample size of people watching anime. even tho a show is considered really good overall it doesnt mean it has to be here as i said, i would rate jjk last aswell in this poll, but i still like it alot and can understand why people enjoy it

Merfhew
>>141466398

You're not fooling me, L. Get back to looking for Kira this instant!

Abu

FMAB or Death Note would be up your alleys. JJK is great but feel like theres nothing much to comment on either than the animations.

Zasshu
>>141456482

Easily one of the best shows of recent years (Made in Abyss is another runner for the title), it's quite sad seeing it overshadowed by JJK

Merfhew

One of the things I enjoyed about the first season of JJK was its humor, which sometimes relied on the viewers' knowledge of other shows (mostly shonen). There's no doubt that they'll watch JJK eventually, so I almost think they should wait until after experiencing more anime. Plus, it would give them more episodes to watch back-to-back if they wait until the anime is further ahead. But I'll support whatever wins (although I might tune out after the movie if JJK wins, as I didn't enjoy Season 2).

Zasshu
>>141461560

Yeah, they already have the big hype action show in Demon Slayer. 86, Frieren or even Made in Abyss would add a lot of variety. JJK just feels like it has nothing to offer than DS already doesn't imo

Barion

Damn I would have loved for you guys to see Vinland Saga or Frieren. But if FMAB wins that might also be the right show for you. Doesn't look like it unfortunately.

Othman Almusaileem
>>141455061

People gotta understand that not every anime is a good reaction material. There are a lot of great animes with same situation

tpfw01

Add HunterxHunter for the next poll please 🙏

Zag

Voting JJK purely because I haven't watched and I need an excuse to watch.

Arnold
>>141463798

Agreed. They just read and are so eager to go post panels, shorts an memes online for the clicks

Kamil Azhar
>>141470585

Yeah, I was hoping for Vinland to be on here. I feel like it would be a nice contrast to AoT, since they tackle similar themes but are obviously very different stories. Frieren would also be a nice palette cleanser after the carnage and despair of AoT 😅.

Kris

Lets go JJK!!!

Y M K

One piece - triple release

My_Cousin_Mose

My old manager and one of my coworkers have each recommended JJK to me at least a dozen times. I tried the first few episodes and couldn't connect with any of the characters. But I've been wanting to give it another shot. They both say if you love Demon Slayer (which I do) then you'll love JJK.

DudeTrue

If not next, you'll still love FMAB whenever you get around to it. Definitely a contender for best and most consistent* anime (*not as much filler or boring arcs, for instance).

Fred Rechid

My vote is JJK. My friends and I watched FMAB and thought it was very overrated.

steven cabral
>>141459133

Absolutely agree. But it’s more also for representation of what their audience wants. Right now if you were to ask the death note crowd what they would prefer between the other two. I’m pretty sure most would go the FMAB route , which would give it the majority.but to be fair if they only had two options most people would complain more why isn’t so and so on the list. Can’t win lol

adamisajoker .

None of you are ever going to vote for Monster, and that's just really sad.

Zain kb

I love jujutsu kaisen because the writer is so bold he just does insane stuff that i didn’t witness in other shows, s1 is kinda considered bright but then it hits hard next season

MeteorJuice

Should consider Haikyuu! at some point 🏐🐦‍⬛

Zain kb
>>141473126

same for me, after i finished aot it was hard to watch and connect with other shows for months, i tried watching jjk multiple times, but now after finishing s2 i’m obsessed with jjk instead 🤣

Saku
>>141473126

The same thing happened to me. I, too, love DS. I watched JJK about 3 times up to around 10 episodes (and the manga), but I couldn't get hooked. When I tried it for the 4th time, I finally started enjoying the show as I started having favorite characters rather than the story.

seb

While all of these are great. I feel Full Metal Alchemist is probably most up your alley. Both FMA and Death Note are classic and very good. JJK is your typical shounen were fighting is the main focus.

HeartlandHunny
>>141476420

I just started Haikyuu!! this week and already finished the first season. I’m obsessed! After every episode I keep thinking “how is it this good?!” 😂 That show is such good vibes.

Lem D

FMA is old but its considered a gateway anime back in the day to introduce people to anime. It has very good character development. JJK is more action. Death Note is, no comment

HeartlandHunny
>>141455876

I just finished the first season of Haikyuu!! It has no business being so good! How is it so good?! And how do I love everything single character? It’s ridiculously, wildly S-tier.

John Doe

you should watch Naruto

HeartlandHunny

YouTube and Patreon wants you to be sad and depressed if JJK is winning. I like the show, but it’s rough. 😝 When you’re done with it, I recommend making a poll with only wholesome anime on it, like Frieren and Haikyuu, to give yall some time to recover. 😂

HauntedSandwich

JJK, I love love love FMAB but it can be watched at any time; JJK is more along the lines of what you've already been watching since more are new gen anime

RAMbot
>>141479141

Not sure why you’d think that when JJK is more on par with Attack on Titan tbh.

RAMbot
>>141479141

To add to your thought though, on the next poll, if they were to be looking for something wholesome, I’d like them to see Bocchi the Rock. It’s a short and sweet slice of life that I think they’ll enjoy.

Zain kb
>>141479141

yeah aot is depressing, but for some reason jjk made me more depressed, i mean first 2 seasons weren’t so rough on me but in the manga story became darker

Davide_Wernstrung

I still think as a short aside you could consider Madoka Magica + the Rebellion movie. It’s the best anime i have ever seen, possibly the best piece of media I’ve ever seen, and if you guys could go into it with ZERO prior knowledge I think you would have an amazing reaction to it (tears, tears forever). It would be a shorter aside, maybe you could just keep it to Patreon - it’s 12 episodes (12 perfect episodes) followed by one 2 hour movie (2 perfect hours). Then for a longer thing to react to I would recommend the cinematic playthrough of The Last of Us part 2

RAMbot
>>141463520

I joined Patreon for One Piece 😁 I love their reactions though so Attack on Titan has been a big plus. It gave me a reason to finally watch all of AoT bc in my last run through, I stopped at the second season for unrelated reasons.

Ishaan Vaze

JJK is very fighting focused. Don't get me wrong the animation is great but there isn't much substance beyond the flashy fights

RAMbot
>>141460737

I feel like JJK is right on par with AoT, which they just finished, so it’s perfect for them. It’s the same kind of emotional rollercoaster with likable characters and high stakes battles.

RAMbot
>>141460164

Ahh I love One Punch Man. Seen it about 16 or more times 😅

Alicia Tosca

Not an anime, but you should definitely watch Dark on Netflix! It's an amazing German show with a well written 3-season-arc plot and reveals, twists, and cliffhangers galore. Also the music is 🔥

Cation

JJK, FMA and Death Note in that order :) JJK because of popularity, FMA because it's a must watch for Anime lovers (the story is amazing) Death Note I loved but don't feel it had an impact as those other two, especially FMA which is amazing to rewatch over and over again.

RAMbot
>>141459696

@merfhew I think what Lissa is trying to say is that others are being negative about JJK, not saying that her opinion on JJK is of a higher value or anything like that. She was simply defending against the negative attacks against JJK.

RAMbot
>>141457873

I love that show so much too. Instead of the show’s Japanese name, you should call it by the English name for them though 😅 My Hero Academia.

Aside from the 3 in the poll, I'm hoping hunter x hunter can get some time to shine one day

Lazygeneration

You two are my favorite reactors currently so I’m just along for the ride 😁 excited for all the stuff you haven’t seen yet

HenryIllustrations

i wished they could watch Frieren, it's perfect after watching an anime like AOT.. but JJK's popularity won, so i're going for that one.

Caradoc Elmet

I'm genuinely shocked at the current state of the poll. I can only assume I'm dreaming. It makes me very sad indeed to see that over 2000 people voted, and 74% of them didn't vote for the anime widely regarded as the greatest anime ever made. I'll watch whatever you upload but this is so sad.

Regie Khemvisay
>>141479141

Coz we’re just like wtfudge is going on? lol AOT we lost Erwin, Hange, Sasha and Eren, in the span of many years.

Orangeplum

Wow these are all really good choices. I'm voting JJK though as I'm more excited to see you guys watch that first. But FMAB would also be another great choice!

Michael

HunterxHunter or Vinland Saga for next Poll pls 😭

Merfhew

One punch man please! You’ll love it!

Merfhew

I'm still upset at MAPPA for how they treated the folks who brought us that good animation. To be fair, most animators are overworked, underpaid, and unappreciated, but the fact that multiple people said they'll never work for MAPPA again makes me wonder how bad (by comparison) they are to other studios.

John Doe

Naruto and One punch man!

Merfhew

Merfhew

I didn't even realize they had a YouTube poll until today when they set up this Patreon poll. 😅

whitebeard25

If you want to watch one of the best anime of all time Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood is the one to go with, and it's one of the few anime I would recommend watching it in English Dub

Paul Mouton

I think the Death Note/FMAB voters would unite against Jujutsu Kaisen if given the opportunity. This is why runoff elections exist when a candidate fails to get 50% XD

Kayden 21
>>141494909

I agree. Most Brotherhood fans are also Death Note fans and I feel like its splitting the votes pretty hard. If it was a 1v1 I think death note and brotherhood would both beat Jujutsu Kaisen.

Mostafa Yahia

i am waiting for Game of thrones + Breaking Bad inform me if there is those options

Jakob

FMA:B is an all-time classic. However, the younger generation seem to have really fallen for Jujutsu Kaisen. I never managed to get through it, but if you guys are gonna watch it I might just tag along. Something to consider is that Jujutsu Kaisen has not ended yet, so if you catch up now you will have to wait for the end. It might be better to start with a series that has ended for that reason. (I don't think Jujutsu Kaisen is close to ending, but I could be wrong)

Pop Smoke

I really do think you should watch Full Metal, because I think its more your style, world building, emotion. JJK is more fighting and animation but there is story too. Just my take

Aloim Aloim

Berserk lmao. They'll probably stop making reaction videos after getting traumatized for life watching it.

Nieko Stewart

Yall would love Frieren. It isn’t going to get any love as long as the classics are still on the table. But once DN, FMAB, and JJK are off the table (which is gonna be forever from now) I highly recommend it. Frieren and Vinland Saga are better shows, imo, than all 3 of the shows you’re choosing from.

WanderingBecauseLostLol

It's a shame Frieren is not here, it's so perfect for this channel. I'm a huge JJK fan but I have no idea if you guys will like it lol

Rekway
>>141482083

It's a shame how fast chainsaw man dropped off everyone's radar just as soon as it ended season 1

Nieko Stewart

It’s basically a right of passage at this point to react to DN. But I’m honestly so bored of it. I don’t think it makes for good reactions. The show is fine but for a reaction channel it feels a lot like wasted time.

Drift3r
>>141498265

I would love for them to react to this voice acted version of Berserk's "Lost Children" arc. "Berserk Lost Children Motion Comic Movie" https://youtu.be/2OCjKZTG1JM It is very well done in terms of voice acting and the story is of course AWESOME because Berserk is AWESOME.

Nat Li
>>141498576

lilrigbus

Alright, Death Note fans! If each of us creates another account and then votes again, we can still take this! jk

Drift3r

One of the story arcs from the Berserk manga that has been wonderfully voiced acted on Youtube. TRUST ME!! The story is ridiculously good. You girls just might become Berserk manga readers. "Berserk Lost Children Motion Comic Movie" https://youtu.be/2OCjKZTG1JM

Nat Li
>>141479178

? Doesn’t really make sense, I feel like after watching aot I would wanna watch something that reaches that level of morality struggle which is definitely death note, obviously there needs to be a balance which is why they’re watching OP, I’m not saying OP or JJK is bad it’s just it’s a different kind of good, FMAB would also be better than JJK for now

Nat Li
>>141471531

I don’t understand that logic tbh just sit down and watch it 😂, you might just need other friends to watch it with, s1 is arguably mid though so it might put you off

Michael Plays

Death note the best of out the 3

fyre

Personally, I think you'd love Vinland Saga. It has great characters and a beautiful story with many thoughtful messages and concepts like AOT. However, I understand why you chose these 3, they are definitely must-watch animes. I voted for FMAB because it's a wonderful story and with great characters. People like JJK for the fights and hype. It isn't very thematically heavy or plot-driven in my opinion, it's more of a fun watch which is why it's so popular.

Drift3r
>>141501567

Excuse me Mr. Gatekeeper I'm not asking them to react to the anime or the entire manga series. Just a small story arc that was voice acted to perfection. Besides Berserk is the best, or least within the top 5 best, Manga's ever.

it has to be jjk it's so good

HauntedDoll_Annabelle

Naruto --- Slayers --- One Piece ... and uh uh... can't think of any more cause all the other anime sucks!

Wish i could vote for Vinland Saga

NomadCisco

Full Metal and Death note need to unite and take down the JJK crew. (Before anyone comes at me, I've watched all 3 of these, I'm current with the JJK manga and it doesn't hold up later on, and the author doesn't even like half the characters he created.)

Scavenger

2 of these anime are finished & one is ongoing, I'd rather you guys see a conclusion to a story through reactions than another wait..

TOOKIE

Death note in English dub. JJK needs to go MIA

R.J. D

Anime movie: Your Name

HauntedDoll_Annabelle

Never do english dub for ANY of those 3. It needs to be Japanese with Eng Sub

kevin

these are all great choices (admittedly I never got far in Full Metal). you'll love them!

Scavenger
>>141519096

Death note & Fullmeltal are known for the english dub being great, the only one id suggest being original is JJK, There are so many accents the japanese original just doesn't cover with FMAB. I orignally watched it in subs, my 3rd rewatch i watched in Dub, & it was the most enjoyable experience by far.

Nando
>>141501567

He means they would never watch a show like Berserk, which I agree with

holylarcenist

Rewatched FMAB recently after watching the original 2003 version and tbh I ended up liking 2003 more. Still a great show, though, and it's way more accessible than the original, which is seemingly nowhere to be found on any streaming services.

Magnus Dalemark

To bad FMAB is losing, its short story about 2 brothers, you would love it! And top 3 best animes of all time.

cho ko

Thank you for your hard work on the video production! I had fun watching ‘Attack on Titan’ together. Before we move on to the next anime, I would like to see a reaction video to the music of ‘Attack on Titan’. Please consider it. Thank you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6Fl1Xl1ogg

Do “my hero academia” y’all need some positivity after aot lol

Daniel Atkinson

I really really really reckon Death Note would be perfect for these two ladies. The second guessing, the twists and turns!

Pablo Alvarez

Reaction to the openings of attack on titan

hairy_spice

I can't believe y'all are saying JJK when you know how much they would adore FMAB. It's incredibly their bag.

Dark Lightning

I think you both would enjoy Kaguya-Sama: Love is War, it's pretty lighthearted and funny

Lotus Eater

i really believe FMAB is highly overrated. Not a bad show, don't get me wrong. But storywise it's nothing close to AoT, so i don't think it's time to give them something similar but worse. Luckily, they are currently on the brighter side of shounen (One Piece), so JJK would be a better option to turn thing around imho. Not story packed like AoT, it's a new gen shounen, it's simpler, lighter, but perfectly executed.

Weey
>>141487027

"genuinely shocked", "so sad". A bit overdramatic don't you think? All three are good shows and just because your favourite wasn't picked now doesn't mean they won't watch it in the future. I'm looking forward to the JJK reactions.

Alan Bun

All really good choices. Personally I would go for Death Note as I think the hook is amazing, but imagine Jujutsu Kaisen may win as it's a bit more recent, but any one of these will be good!

Isac christensen

we might actually get to see the top two soon since the new demon slayer season has 8 episodes and ends in a few weeks. So they might watch number one and two.

HeavensNight

JJK is a wild ride and has some truly loveable characters imo. I subbed for aot but I'm staying for the journey!

David Bell

If these are the choices then definitely Full Metal Alchemist. IMO Jujutsu Kaisen, while flashy with awesome fight animations etc and generally entertaining, doesnt have any real emotional depth compared to the others.

Brandon Lau

Really enjoyed your AOT reactions. You girls like substance. So I really suggest Death Note over JJK. I stopped watching JJK after a few episodes as I felt nothing with it. At the end of the day though, there's nothing that comes close to AOT.

Astera

FMAB and death note have not aged so well TBH, Nostalgia helps but JJK is a better viewing experience fresh. Watching a dated FMAB right after finishing the masterpiece that is AoT is just going to be unsatisfying. JJK is lighter and a different kind of show from AoT/FMAB

Fajar Kurniawan

NomadCisco
>>141454920

Ben out of curiosity, how old are you. Maybe our age is showing with our choices, as they are older anime. But I don’t feel like there needs to be a fight scene or so much action in every episode to be considered good. Death Note and FMAB are held high by the majority of the anime community.

NomadCisco
>>141455189

The only anime I’ve ever consumed in English are Cowboy Bebop, FMAB, and Dragon Ball.

NomadCisco
>>141456482

86 is top tier for a single season anime! Have never heard a bad thing about it and have rewatched at least 4 times.

NomadCisco

FMAB is a well rounded story that connect well all the way to the end. Death Note is a masterpiece of storytelling and pretty short! JJK is still ongoing with great fights and animation but lack in continuity and storytelling and there’s at least 4 more season that need to come out but it does get slow. 86/ not mention is a single season masterpiece about war and mechs and racial injustice… if you’re interested. It probably needs to be a 1V1 to get a clear answer. If JJK wins I’d probably leave the Patreon until Arcane season 2. I’m not an anime watcher of One Piece and JJK is fun but I don’t need to rewatch it or care for the reaction.

Same thing By s4-5 it became bs And thats what pisses me off, you go that far in a story only to realise it was a waste of time. By s4 you start realising that the premise itself makes little sense. The world, economy, society, technology, the school, the hero association etc... around quirks doesnt fit the phenomenon And because its a weak world building and lore, there is nothing holding up the story when it takes a bad turn

I like vinland more than DN maybe about the same for FMAB for me, but I dont see how frieren makes it to the list with these others.... Show is very boring to me. Not memorable, maybe sub is the way or something but the dub was very offputting to watch. Orsi2003

Death Note was the "it" anime show before AoT. If you want someone to experience anime you would recommend Death Note. It will be interesting to see your reaction to this show. It seems that Jujutsu Kaisen would win the poll. Since you liked Demon Slayer, I'm pretty sure you will like Jujutsu Kaisen too. That being said, I highly recommend to also include into your reaction shows from different genres and from different demographics. for example romcom & sport or seinen anime. All the anime you have reacted to up till now falls under Shonen category. It is the most popular category and included the most popular shows. I highly recommend you try the following titles: Kaguya-sama: Love is War (genre: comedy) Romantic Killer (genre/genres romcom) Ace of Diamond (genre: sport - baseball) Haikyuu!! (genre: sport - volleyball) Many fans of sport shows don't like sport or followup sport, but they certainly do like these shows. Also for live shows, I recommend the following kdrama: Moving (based on Webtoon) stream on Hulu (US) Disney+ (rest of the world) Kingdom (based on Webtoon) stream on Netflix 2 of my favorite live shows (not just kdrama)

aljon tumbali

I'm excited for the JJK serieeeesss!!

>>141567677

Probably my favourite anime. I prefer it over AOT. The fights are cool and all but the characters and symbolism is the series main strength. Its an open interpretation anime too so youll need to connect things yourself. So you need actual iq to understand a lot of things. It's fun solving things

DiabolikAngel39

Imma vote for Death Note cause it is an experience let me tell you that. But you should definitely check out some sports animes like Haikyuu or Blue Lock. They’re straight heat🔥🔥

Rawdota

You have to do JJK it's going to be a slow burn the first season is pretty bad but second is amazing. Just get through the bad dialogue and childishness of the first season and you'll be good.

Henrik Eik

Gonna trow out Golden kamuy cause not many people give it a chance, but its amazing

Zain kb

Many negative comments on jjk, i hope it doesn’t affect your opinion on watching it and some people here in the comment section didn’t even watch the whole show to criticize, for me it was hard to watch first but then i became obsessed with it at s2 it’s fun, s2 is better than s1 imo because it’s darker and have the vibes that i like than first season is just a build up for what’s coming later !

Stefan
>>141604834

Art, humor, and action is all good in JJK. The story isn't just very good with the narrator having to fill in the plot holes because things aren't naturally explained in the story itself.

Slussh

While I do really enjoy Death Note and JJK, FMAB is not only finished, but it has tones similar to AOT, its a story of siblings, JJK has a very complex system that is hard to grasp at first, and it is still not finished yet. DN is finished, but, its got an acquired taste to it (which I have grown to love) that is quite darkening

Salman

JJK is the longest, most boring story (practically non existent) and just pure action packed carried by recency hype. FMAB and Death Note are 2 FANTASTIC stories, less fighting and more story focused and both are very short and get you hooked almost instanly. Both those shows stood the test of time and remain 2 of the best anime ever 20 years later and in my opinion I experience girls tend to like them more than just pure action like JJK those are my thoughts on it

Merfhew
>>141602462

Interesting. I actually feel the exact opposite. The first season (and movie) was, in my opinion, fun and entertaining. The second season, however, killed my interest in the series. I still plan to attempt the third season, but I've been told that I won't enjoy JJK going forward if I didn't enjoy the second season.

Merfhew
>>141534542

I feel the same way about JJK, at least when it comes to the second season. It's possible that manga readers raised my expectations too much, cause I was told it would be the greatest season of anime since Chimera Ant, and I was also told that it would be the greatest season of anime EVER made. Like, I'm not sure how people came to these conclusions, but there was no way such expectations could have been met. I stupidly believed them and felt disappointed after the first 5 or 6 episodes. I much prefer going into a show / new season completely blind, so I can form my own opinions without any outside interference.

@Emil - Unfortunately, there was only one emotional moment in the second season that made me feel anything, and it was super early in the season. That being said, I did like Hidden Inventory, although I thought it was too short.

>>141604834

I’ve finished it, and I’m current on the manga, and I criticize the storytelling that’s done on JJK.

Barion
>>141602462

The first season had a great mix of slice of life, comedy, action, drama and introduction of many interesting characters. The 2nd season without Hidden Inventory is only action and drama that falls flat because the characters are barely used for anything before they are killed off. When S2 was done, I just didn't care anymore.

Your opinion is valid, although I personally disagree. I would say they are both A tier animes for different reasons

over watch

hey i love your reactions :) i dont know where to post this so i just drop it here hopefully you read it. it would be cool if you could consider uploading your videos to youtube as unlisted videos. i only have 1 monitor and its a little awkward to open the episode and your guys video at the same time with the patreon player). keep up the great work :) ps : watch hunter x hunter at some point its a great show

Meww
>>141604834

I am actually surprised by the negativity towards JJK, and I agree with you I hope that it won’t affect their opinion on watching it. I personally enjoyed the show! Especially the movie

Meww

For me personally I love your reactions so much so whatever ends up winning I will gladly join the ride! Also I understand some of us wants the ladies to react to their favorite anime but let’s let them form their opinion on whatever anime wins on their own without any more influence cuz I genuinely enjoy hearing their opinion and thoughts

Zain kb
>>141604834

I mean yeah i think the story isn’t all that great but you don’t know maybe their gonna enjoy the show, they love to theorize and stuff i think jjk is also suitable for them since there are plot twists

Zain kb
>>141604834

i also think the story isn’t perfect but that doesn’t change the fact that’s it’s fun show, they can try watch it and enjoy it i personally think that they will love it

Zain kb
>>141616022

Y’all hate the fun, they don’t have always to watch such a perfect story, jjk is reasonable and enjoyable i don’t think it would have been this popular if it’s not good at all

Mike Ip

CODE GEASS!!!!!

Mike Ip

How is midJK higher than goated FMAB T.T

Meww
>>141604834

Exactly! Its not perfect but it is a fun show, I too think they might really like it

Devon Joseph

Not gonna lie. I wish we had more choices besides DeathNote FMB or JJK there is barely any difference in themes between these and they can feel alittle overated in the reactor space. What about like a sports anime or idk slice of life or even a different shonen imo

Bri

Hehe I’d kill for JJK. You guys will love the characters and the action scenes in season two are just epic!

Zain kb
>>141479141

i Mean eren hange died at last moments at least you had the chance to watch them till the end of story, but jjk on the other hand gege doesn’t care about writing them good conclusions and developing them he keep killing interesting characters

Snowman9712
>>141604834

It's a good show, but both other options are better. JJK just has more hype, because the second season dropped not too long ago

Evan Flores

Fairy Tail, My Hero Academia, Magi……. All three of those are anime I recommend as well outside of the realm of “the greats”. Still fantastic anime. But out of these three I definitely would choose JJK

Dannigom

fmab would have been the perfect replacement for aot.

Wolvie

Death Note Death Note Death Note!!!!

Devon Joseph
>>141639970

It is what it is, Im just confused as to why there was a youtube poll before there was a patreon poll.

Stoic

Gotta love the recency bias of people thinking that JJK is a must watch over 2 other goated animes.

kodzuika
>>141626809

I second the HunterxHunter reco!! I think the girls would absolutely love it.

‎
>>141616022

JJK isentertaining and better written than both. Just because JJK has fights doesnt mean it's bad. Fights can be better than boring talks sometimes.

‎
>>141604834

There is no single plot holes in JJK unlike fmab

pg.0314
>>141658929

WTF JJK is known for not being the best written but still very good

Mojira
>>141658929

yeah, JJK is probably the most overrated anime at this moment. Oh well... The best fit is FMA:B, too bad we have to wait for that one.

Ajinkya Athlye

Death Note is great in terms of plot and execution, but absolutely reeks of 'men unable to write women'. There are literally only 2 significant women characters and they're both sappy and subservient to the MC, and lack individualism. Not to mention it fails the Bechdel test spectacularly and is heavy on sexualization. If this is not something that bothers you, I'd vote for Death Note, otherwise FMAB.

TOOKIE
>>141517053

WOAH!?!? That was a mouthful. Finally got the stick out your ass huh? Now put some pants on and shaddup

Niler Wuthichaikul
>>141658929

I voted for JJK, not because of the bias, I know both Brotherhood and Death Note are classic (I've read them all) but in terms of reaction and the characters, I prefer to see their reaction on JJK first. That's all.

Zachary Provenzano
>>141604834

what plot holes? the whole show answers every single question uptil the end. Its up to you to fill in the wholes with what was given.

Zachary Provenzano
>>141517053

the only dubs that i enjoy are are the early 2000s but that's just because of nostalgia but looking back on it the only good dub on this list is fma:b personally.

Zachary Provenzano
>>141455425

i dont think season 3 will be good most of the animaters for jjk left . Its gonna be a season 2 one punch man all over again.

Walker Norwood

Jjk is a quality anime but Full metal is an insane story. Plus JJK isn’t even finished where as Full metal is

Jon S
>>141633791

Recency bias. A lot of people will always choose the current best/good thing over all timers

Kaito12
>>141639970

Yes they will get more clicks cause they are popular, but you also have to remember there is a reason these shows are popular

risa

naruto please!

Notorious DKL

I'd only watch U react to death note out of these tbh

PKS
>>141707264

yeah, if out of these 3, Death Note is not there and One Piece will be there as a constant, then I am taking a break.

Notorious DKL
>>141707264

Although I do enjoy JJK I do think it's a bit overrated and I'm currently watching FMA as to why I wouldn't watch that, Death note is a masterpiece only short too would glady watch them react. Ye I'm going to allow the one piece to stack before coming bk

Nieko Stewart
>>141498327

Well firstly, if you don’t like a show then you shouldn’t force yourself to watch it. I felt that way with HxH and JJK and, instead of growing to like them, I ended up actively disliking them. Trust me, if you watched 7 episodes of Frieren and you don’t like it, then you just don’t like it. I never felt bored watching it. The characters are interesting. The art is vibrant. The music is very well done. The story isn’t anything trend setting or trail blazing, but it’s told in a way that I haven’t seen before. There’s action, drama, comedy, and romance all beautifully choreographed together. Personally I felt like it had a little something to offer for everyone. But If it isn’t for you then there’s nothing wrong with that. My original comment was mainly due to frustration because shows like Vinland Saga, Frieren, Code Geass, Violet Evergarden, Monster, and Parasyte, often get placed on a back burner simply because Shonen style anime’s have more fans.

Barion
>>141616022

Just compare the female cast of FMAB with the female cast of JJK and you know which one is better written.

Kyle T
>>141705752

1 series with 5 billion episodes at a time imo :p otherwise we'd be stuck with the same two things foreeeever

Kyle T
>>141658929

I haven't seen JJK, but it seems good! I've watched 5 episodes of death note and dropped it. Full metal seems pretty cool, but I never got started with it

Stefan
>>141604834

@Zachary Provenzano: The author of JJK plops in multiple deus ex machina plot reveals instead of letting the story reach a conclusion organically. I can’t name examples here as it would be spoilers but the current arc in the manga is full “wtf is even happening” moments, where the author has to use the narrator box to fill in the blanks that were never detailed in the story.

Aleister Crowley
>>141498327

yeah some people just love battle shounen, horror, and gore more than just good story telling with lighter aspects.

Stoic
>>141658929

for the people that think JJK is a good choice, lemme enlighten you: JJK is on-going and as an anime only watcher but know whats happened in the manga, it's gonna continue for a while. The animation is insanely good, the characters are too as well as the premise but the others have something else about them that make them better. FMAB is a completely finished masterpiece with zero plot holes and everything rounds out in the end. There's a reason its #1 on MAL for years and it's not just nostalgia. Death Note is a unique series where detective work is key and it'd be fun to watch Halo and Kiss try to break down what goes on in the series. JJK CAN be a good choice but to completely ignore the classics just because of false "nostalgia" claims is malarkey.

Meww

I’m excited for JJK reaction!

fyre
>>141658929

JJK is one of the most poorly written newgen animes, especially in the manga. It's only popular because of the character fanbase and the animation/fights alongside the recency bias of the Shibuya Arc. In what world is JJK better written than FMAB?? 90% of JJK is exposition and I say this as a big fan of JJK.

My_Cousin_Mose

I think it would be cool for you guys to react to the occasional movie every now and again. Just one every few anime or something. You guys are what early-mid 20s? I'm betting there are at least a handful of the classics like LOTR, Forrest Gump, or The Outsiders that you guys haven't seen yet. "Stay Golden Ponyboy" Kiss, do you even know what movie that's from?

K

JJK is good but hoping my fellow HAIKYUU!! fans would come over here and recommend it to you because you need therapy after AOT - not another traumatic incident. YuY

Zakir Hussein Mowzer

Instead of anime. Consider the Netflix series Dark. It is one of the highest rated shows on Netflix. You can watch in the original German but the English dub is just as good. Like AoT the writing of this series is just amazing. Just when you think you know what is happening it surprises you. Each season adds another layer on the story.

Jacob Vernon
>>141670052

What are you really complaining about? Light pretty much outsmarts the whole verse so why would you be frustrated about the female characters shortcomings?

Zain kb
>>141658929

not every show needs to be such a good written story to enjoy watching it, the writer loves writing fights more and he did good job so, it’s reasonable and good

Faris

Generally, I would give priority to finished series over ongoing. But people have their preferences I guess.

Hector Garcia

I'm currently watching 2 different animes and Star Wars show with all my kids (4) that range between the ages of 21 thru 29. They are the ones that started me on my Anime Journey and I've been loving it. I'm just looking forward to your reactions, just like everyone here!

DrakDoodles

My vote goes for FMA: Brotherhood but just for future recommendations the only thing that compares to AoT for me is Neon Genesis Evangelion (og, not the rebuilds). Heavily recommend if any of these points pique your interest: - Apocalyptic setting, humanity under attack by aliens or "angels" - Three teens have to pilot mecha robots while struggling with their own personal issues, very realistic in it's approach - Very psychological and complex, has a lot to say about the human mind - Great animation and fight scenes, the mechas have a lot of weight - Great score (not as good as AoT but it hits) - Short! only 26 episodes and then a movie climax (The End of Evangelion) I personally find a lot of the popular shonen animes iare fun and "hype" and all that but not very deep, I need a bit more and AoT and NGE have that perfect blend.

rina

I love all these shows! Super excited for your pick! I hope you eventually react to them all - howeverrrrr 😂 I think FMA will strike on all your heart strings and love for brotherhood and siblings ❤️ Jjk probably still has a couple more years so you got time haha Death Note - classic and I'm sure you'll still react to it eventually!

Weey
>>141658929

Gotta love the nostalgia bias towards FMAB and DN.

Paul Garner

I'm late and you've probably recorded a couple of episodes by now, but I feel like you would both really enjoy ranking of Kings, sweet story and not all crazy action all the time But FMAB is imo the best of the 3, depends how depressed you want to be between these 3

‎
>>141807316

The dark is probably the most garbage show I have ever seen.

Matt Lopez

I voted for FMAB because 1. There's a reason its towards the top of every "best ever anime" list above the rest and 2. Its finished whereas JJK is still ongoing. So you can still catch up with JJK later and blast through FMAB first. But whatever works best for y'all!

T Rex

Jujutsu Kaisen all the way .I am 100 percent sure you will enjoy it. WHile i admit that the other 2 animes are also very good i feel like the demand for jjk reactions are more prominent(I am also excited for your reactions) because it has both great storyline and characters but also modern top tier animation. And also i would like to add that you guys should watch anime movies like your name, a silent voice and i want to eat your pancreas

Brady

Can't wait for JJK reactions! Also, can't wait to see your reactions to Attack on Titan openings and ending, if you do react to it. SiM - Under the Tree might hit you hard in the feels too now that AoT is finished!

Devon Joseph
>>141639970

Its not a matter of it being popular because there are MANY anime that haven't been in the spotlight for a long time that reactors are going through right now. Its more so that coming off of something heavy like AOT into JJK is just not what alot of people want right now. It would've been nice to have alittle more variety. That's all I'm saying. Popular can become overrated really quick. It's no skin off my teeth tbh, let the people have what they want. I'll just resub when something I want them to react to is on the schedule.

Blake Childress

I'm so disappointed in you all. You all really want to see them watch JJK? I don't understand the love for that anime. To each their own I guess.

Meww

JJK REACTION IS TODAYY! Im so excited and I hope they enjoy it <3

Jhoita Arcaya

I hope one day they watch Haikyuu!!!! ❤️
