Loving these. Would be cool if you read a cover story a week or something too. The Buggy part about him getting his body back after Luffy beat him and Coby meating Garp are both cover stories but they are the only 2 early ones that got animated.

Bleh, something like a year before the Live action release a buttload of stuff got leaked because the Baratia arc got cut into an Arlong intro (fans aboard the crew probably got pissed and leaked it). Arlong using a splash of Water to beat luffy was a pain cause it doesn't follow the regular rules, especially with this SBS clarifying, but they probably thought they already committed too deep in the messing things up narratively so they didn't mind. I chalked it up as some sort of specific Fishman Karate technique for coating devil fruit users.

Could we also expect cover story's ?? They tell a canon story that is happening alongside the saga

The last sanji one was very very interesting 🤔

Can we expect one piece movies? Not all of them but there are some really great ones

zoroxmihawk

my head canon is, that crocodile takes sand baths. like chinchillas 😆

Oda dodges a lot of Sanyo’s questions do a lot of them are full of nothing for very good reasons trust me it will all be cleared in the future

Another great SBS reading, Oda is such a funny old man he literally conversing with the readers and not just answering questions professionally lol. Anyway maybe one day you can do cover-stories reading too? Just for fun additional stories of what happened to other characters after some arcs. The Baroque Works one was especially fun.

Thanks Oriem! this is really fun and i imagine you put a lot of work into this. You are seriously appreciated!

I still think, regarding the question about not being able to use powers when they're in water, it doesn't completely nullify their powers. It's more like, they don't have the strength to use them (just my theory), as you can recall Luffy being stuck in the water during his fight with Arlong and Nojiko stretching his head out of the water for him so he could breath There might be some inconsistencies here and there, I'm not really sure, but one rule is for certain... The gag always wins 🙂

Due to the nature of the story with it's mystery and humour, it's hard to not read too deep into some of Oda's answers lol. I feel like he hides 5% of the real truth inside his jokes 🤣
