Ahh! This is so fun. I lost it at Kiss laughing at the user names. Log got me too. Where do I submit my application for the Creeping Coven Crew?! I think Dr Kureha should be our doc obviously. Nami should be our captain, Robin as first mate, Kokoro our helmfishwoman, Chimney and Gonbe the swabbies, Perona is our morale officer (looool)

Hudell

One thing that we didn't know during the Luffy vs Usopp fight, was that Usopp already knew about Merry's spirit. He never voiced it and was reluctant to believe it, but deep down he already knew, so to him it really felt like Luffy was abandoning one of the crewmembrs.

Nadeem L

The Creeping Coven!? What the hell that's so cool!!!!! And that seemed like a Freudian slip too, loll. You're a fan of fantasy/horror?? Honestly, I'd watch that show. Thanks for answering my question btw!!

Your pirate crew sounds awesome! When you guys brought up the witch theme I thought of The Hex Pirates. Creeping Coven is better though! My favorite comedy bit from this saga is the refrigerator bit. How Chopper kept mixing up the drinks, and every time he opened the door, Kumadori would begin monaloging but then get cut off with the door closing again 🤣🤣🤣 I also love the city of Water 7. It's soo beautiful. My favorite Galley La shipwrights outside of Pauly and the cp9 ones are Pepe Lulu (Freddy Mercury inspired design) and Tilestone for how he always yells when he doesn't mean to 🤣 the I want to Live scene always hits home especially when Saul's words to her flash in while showing the Strawhats. Goosebumps always 😁

Wait we could of ask some questions ? When??

It was a few weeks ago, we were slow to get this together! We'll do another one for Thriller Bark soon though. ☺️

My favorite fight (besides the default of Luffy's), and comedy bit in this arc will always be Franky vs Fukuro when Fukuro calls Franky's punches "underpants". It makes me burst out laughing every single time. (I will now dictate the dubbed version, because it's way easier XD) Franky : They're like flimsy, underpowered, PAPER punches. Fukuro : Yours are flimsy underpants punches. Franky : ... 'underpants'? Fukuro : Uhh... (breaks out into a brawl, both characters punching back and forth) Franky : 'UnderPOWERED', not 'underPANTS'! Fukuro : YOU'RE underpowered pants! Franky : Oh yeah? Well you're just a stupid bra! Fukuro : Shut UP, PAIR OF SOCKS! Franky : LONG JOHNS! Fukuro : BOXER BRIEFS!! Franky : LOIN CLOTH!!! Fukuro : CHAPAPAPAPAPAPAPA PAA!!!!

Hey ladies, I just learned Oda is the 7th bestselling author is history. That is mind blowing, Oda and One Piece really are goated.

One of the important things about Usopp that really changed my opinion of the character was perspective. I forget who I saw that said it but when we watch Usopp we see things from a place of partial omniscience: his internal dialogue. During the duel between him and Luffy, we don’t have that as directly, considering he is no longer really a part of the crew. This is the perspective most people see Usopp: this sniper who comes in & does his job. While yes he does run and act goofy at times in ways that are apparent to others, outside of his friends most don’t realize just how afraid he is. When I realized this it really created a cool underlying dynamic for his character and made me appreciate him (and Oda’s writing) so much more. It’s also really cool because Usopp’s dream is really ephemeral. The other crew members have a tangible dreams they want to achieve & who is to say when Usopp truly is a “brave warrior of the sea”? Perhaps there will be a character who will recognize him as such but in reality there is a justification in saying that he already IS one. I am always excited to see takes on this character in particular, as he tends to be a bit divisive. I was never as excited for his moments when I was younger but now I personally have really come around on the character overall, to the point that my most anticipated potential fight is him vs. another character I won’t mention here.

Alexander Tonkins

A kick ass all female witch pirate crew would be pretty cool huh! I wish I was more artistic so I could draw you 2 a flag

Mehdi

Your pirate crew will dominate the Grand Line someday, I'd like to buy some stocks please.

Thank you for answering! 😁

Attack on Titan finale is what made Hayle cry the most? One Piece: okay bet

Dandy Zoran

Make your Jolly Roger's now lmao

PCD151

I love Fukurou😭😂 Chapapa

Dark_Eternal

It's a bit hard to expect them to compare the Going Merry to the Thousand Sunny already, since from their point of view they've just hopped on the Sunny to get to Thriller Bark, and that's it 😄

KRITVNP

I need to say this, watching the people I like falling in love with something I love, is the best feeling in the world.

B.G.

On the Usopp v. Luffy question: I feel Usopp was totally vindicated in the end with the revelation of the Merry's spirit and the Merry coming to save them, thanks to Usopp standing his ground and not saving her from abandonment. He deserved an apology from everyone more so than the other way around - Oda messed that one up imo. Yes they are a pirate crew, with a captain that has the final word in theory, but how often had this been really put to the test in practice with the Strawhats, who are more family than crew? Probably not ever, not like this. Would Sanji not feed an enemy because Luffy ordered him not to? Would Chopper not help a patient because Luffy ordered him to stand down? And had Luffy seen what Usopp had seen would he have abandoned the Merry the way he did it?

He does not deserve apology. He left the crew on a WHIM. Usopps insecurities were building up. Just exploded on this timing. For the last question: Luffy and Usopp set on adventure with different resolve. Usopps (I guess I don't mind adventuring with them) VS Luffys (I don't mind even if I end up dying on this journey), thats why I think Luffy would have gone on

duece

later it is revealed that the slogan Red Bull gives you wings is literal when franky uses it as fuel ( obviusly im kidding but that would be hillarious)

wanira 11

"We can't have two long noses" lmao

>>166122311

And from Usopp's perspective Luffy was dumping the Merry on a whim. He had no time to process the news and was asked to go along with Luffy's horribly presented decision.

Mone

So much fun! Thanks, girls 😊 When I was a kid, I used to rank the Strawhat's. Now, half my life later and re-watching the show with you and reading the manga for the first time, I realise that I simply can't do that any longer 😮 Or rather not in that sense. The monster trio are my loves. They've been since the first day... However, back then I did not give some of the characters the love they deserve. Maybe bc I was a kid and I didn't realise some stuff. I adore this crew so so much. It's so damn hard to rank them 🫠

Kyo

Really like this type of videos. Looking forward for the next Q&As and seeing how your thoughts on the series evolve 😊

KayJay

28:30 They want more of Shanks ... People who are caught up with the Manga: Us as well :')

Proto Mundi
>>166152759

yeah when I try to rank them I always feel sorry for the ones not getting in the top 5. I love them all so much

Buggy D clown

You were expecting dark and edged ship because when franky explained the crew about he is going to make his dream ship before garp arrived and when luffy was sleeping, oda showed us dark and edged ship for seconds, he tricked us 😅

Peter Butchens

And here I thought Bobby would be your figurehead haha. But "Wise...but also like 'I kill you'." Convinced me 🤣

Mone
>>166152759

I tried it for the first time in years watching the Q&A and realised I just can't do it. I would sit there for hours thinking and feeling bad 😭😂

Don't panic

It's One Piece. There are probably owl tigers or tiger owls on an island somewhere.

Franky E

Surprised that Nami vs Khalifa was a least favourite! That’s one of the ones that I found most memorable because it had some very funny moments - notably Khalifa thinking that Nami turned into Monster Chopper!

Owl

Love your answer guys

Moji

28:48 don’t worry even we still don’t know much about shanks. He is like that one uncle who is only seen around during thanksgiving, has some meal and than is to be seen on next year’s thanksgiving.

Jhjoe

Kiss with less makeup looks so cute 👍

Michael Cyr

I love how the color of Kiss' cup perfectly matches her shirt. 😁
