Canute and thorfinn are literally the meme of the two super jacked dudes clasping hands ❤️

Zinny

Every single time Thorfinn and Einar call each other brother kills me 😭😭😭

Raden

This is the type of writing that changes your view on life. Absolute peak

Roli D. Great

It is not called Vinland Saga for nothing, ladies :)

I love H&K

Thorfinn and Einar setting sail to the New World🔥

Steve.

Thornfinn already created a place without swords in the presence of the King of Vikings. If I take anything from this show, it’s that Vinland is in reach for anyone, anywhere and anytime.

Michael D

If yall are tore up on this episode then buckle up. It gets me everytime!

CastSenpai

This episode cemented season 2 as an all-time great. Can you believe some people called this boring?

Brandon Chen

Massive respect to Olmar. So much courage needed for his decision. If I am not mistaken, Snake's origin of Miklagard is Constantinople. I think he was part of the Varangian Guard.

Paul Atkins

You did it, Yukimura sensei. You carved that feeling into me.

Jeffrey Xue

I love the full circle moment for Thorfinn when Snake tells him his real name. At his lowest point in "Valhalla" he cried over how he never even bothered to learn the names of those he killed, and finally he gets to learn the name of one of the first people he has saved.

Daniel Scott

The way Thorfinn folds his arms like Askeladd at 4:19; peak.

Skele

Ever since ep 1, I've been waiting for this episode.

shakerbark

I love the evolution of Olmar's relationship with Thorfinn. Going from Thorfinn being an object to kill in order to "become a man," to now seeing him as a person whose actions and kindness he wants to follow in order to become a real man.

Near Uchiha

imagine canute knew thorfinn the warrior. sended him to slavery because thorfinn tried to kill him but he understood and did not want to kill thorfinn. Then he tries to take over a random farm and he hears. Thorfinn wants to see you. He really tought he was gooing to die there. But what he gets is a totally different man who has his face bashed in just to say. Pls dont take the farm or we need to keep fleeing for you. That made him see people can chance and are not just evil. He got hope from that. And it made him realising that not killing (the solution he had because of the crown fears father manifestations) was not necissary. that made him happy.

Manny

It’s easy to forget with everything Canute has displayed this season that that’s all he wanted to see— any love in the heart of men. “That's all we ever wanted in this world we live in.” They will create their own paradise on Earth.

romai

I feel like those individuals steer away from the deep things... in lieu of just constant escape. I'm guilty of this, I pushed off watching season 2 because season 1 finale wrecked me... Season 2 even more so, but it was needed.

jasin beemer

pls do next eps right now lol

Cation

This is peak anime, peak story telling. The way it ended with Pater saying: someplace thats not here is actually a call back to the very first episode of Vinland Saga titled: Somewhere Not Here. Soon to be full circle. I love this anime, carve that encounter into me.
