I remember when I first watched this, I was exactly the same. I was just back and forth with this guy, but I think the moment I finally knew it was him was in that episode that Satoru was getting arrested, and he saw the guy’s eyes as he passed. From there, I never flip flopped again, haha 🤣

Yeah you guys were on him from the start. It’s odd when you think about it, he should’ve been Satoru main suspect but like the audience you just don’t want to believe that.

"It's too obvious" - it's definitely hard for us as the audience to think about so we can be sure. The same can be said about Kayo's bruises. It was obvious but no one was doing anything, or could do anything. There are so many clues throughout the show that point to the teacher, but the subtitles don't show it either, for example. The food he had at the ice rink was from Yuuki's family food store, the kidnapper knowing the friend is a boy, his tools disappearing right after Satoru told him where Kayo was hiding, the kids constantly hanging around with him. Funnily enough though, I officially confirmed for myself that he was the k!ller amongst these clues, for some reason thinking that going from a Teacher (Social/Community worker) to a Councilman (Public service) just made sense Lol.

Finding suspicion in everyone at the beginning throws you off. Still, he was super suspicious. But then he wins big points with helping Kayo and his charm. The candy was in the back of my mind after he claimed it a substitute but the further we went here the more I couldn’t ignore him. For some reason I didn’t want to believe it was him here becuz he was such a big help and being encouraging. I thought they were throwing us off again. He was so obvious that it wasn’t so obvious. 🍬 🍭

It was obvious yes but he legit was or only possible culprit . Thats my only downside with this series the culprit was too obvious . But other wise I realy enjoyed it
