The only reason I’m subscribed to this Patreon is because you guys are genuinely smart.

DevilWearsAdidas

Women in general are extremely good at paying attention to the details. They are very smart, the two of them, but I find that this is generally a very strong woman's trait is being able to absolutely nail the details.

So, they already covered this in the episode where Light's sister wanted help with math. Ryuk told Light that you cant see the shinigami until someone touches the notebook. That point was already made if you were unclear or have forgotten.

The fake Kira reminds me of Eren's speech in the finale of AoT. Just a run of the mill regular person with all this power. That's what's scary about the thought of it. I mean a genius with that same power is frightening, but it's the chaotic unpredictability and flagrant lack of accountability with a regular that makes that way more dangerous. Case in point: Eren Yeager.

Light's weak point: some other fool trying to get his attention who is not as smart and calculated as he is but can leak his secrets haha

Dale Cooper

I've seen the total opposite with other react women. Anecdotal evidence is just that.

Dale Cooper

The Shinigami don't really seem to give a fuck. Probably what happens when you are effectively immortal.

André Carvalho

Haha, yeah — we don’t exactly root for Light… but since he’s the protagonist, we kind of end up rooting for him anyway, right? And even more than that: the fact that he’s so smart and calculating, and that the whole game is so interesting, makes the Second Kira’s revelations feel to us like a ‘problem for the story.’ Question: at this point, how do you guys imagine the ending of Death Note will play out? And beyond that, what kind of ending would you want it to have?

Meat IS RAWW

No, shinigami actually has to have affection for the human being that they're lengthening the life with death note in order for them to die. They could be just killing random person who was destined to kill another person via murder or accident, and thus lengthening a random person's lifespan. But it won't kill them in this case cause it would be just an accident. They actually have to love the person whose lifespan is being lengthened for them to die.

LMFAO!!! Although I agree with you Kiss, I have to be the devil's advocate on your quote about you know from experience since being a blonde. You're very intelligent and I say this because of your theory crafting from watching One Piece there were a few times you figured out pieces to story driven puzzles. You're definitely not Misa.

Andreas Carlen

You girls are really smart. One of the biggest reasons I watch you is because of your attention to detail. It makes everything rewatchable and sometimes you offer details and theories I would've never thought of or missed. Straight up observation haki sometimes. To answer your question about Misa seeing the shinigami. When Gelus died, ownership went Rem since she picked it up. Then Rem believed it belonged to Misa and gave it to her. Now Misa is the owner and can see Rem.
