Fun fact that's not mentioned in the anime: Jinwoo's dad was among the first hunters before there was an official ranking system. So even though he seems to be S-rank, he's never actually had his power measured.

The math is crazy, if I remember what they say, its one day in a dungeon for every hour outside. So if they mean he was trapped in the dungeon for 10 OUTSIDE years.....

If the time dilation in the dungeon is one day inside for every one hour outside, then 10 years passing in the outside world results in 240 years spent inside the dungeon.

That's not exactly correct. That 1 hour: 1 day time difference applies only to Red Gates and we know Sung II-Hwang was not trapped in a Red Gate. In summary: Red Gate, the time dilation is extreme: 1 day inside equals 1 hour outside, making them incredibly dangerous because hunters age and fatigue rapidly, while normal dungeons generally have 1:1 or slightly skewed time differences (depending on the specific gate's properties and rank) Jinwoo's dad would've died of old age already had he been trapped in a Red Gate.

Not if he was granted power by the system or by something similar to fight the system.

That isn't something you should assume. The FACT is normal dungeons function normally time wise. Only Red Gates have the extreme time dilation

One thing you should know is that Jin Woo is gonna need to join a guild because freelancers only have access to dungeons C rank or below. So he has to be part of a guild to access higher ranked gates.
