Saying "a few more episodes" implies something big is happening in a few episodes. Think of it as the same thing as if someone tells you not to touch them (don't spoil) but you hover your finger in front of them saying "I'm not touching you" (A few more episodes) but all they are doing is testing the boundaries because they can't control themselves.

this arc is universally despised because here is where TOEI started messing with the pacing, the arc is long, but toei made it unneccesary long, which makes it lose its sense of urgency, barto does carry tho xD but a lot of lore is presented here.

You weren't spoiling any details but you are spoiling expectations by suggesting something major or minor is coming. You are telling them to expect something happening in the next few episodes which can be seen as spoiling a raw reaction. I get we are all excited to see the reactions but hinting at upcoming events is what ruins a genuine reaction to things because if they read you're comment they are now anticipating/looking for what you are talking about instead of enjoying the show.
