Oh btw I'm not sure if anyone told you this yet but Sugar is a full grown adult lol she is Monet's (Harpy snow lady) twin sister.

Isn't she Monet's younger sister? I always thought Sugar was the older sister, but then I read that she was younger. I'm pretty sure they're not twins. I forget where this information was even revealed, I think it was in an SBS and I'd like to see them react to it instead of just being told about it.

I love this arc, but it really highlights how many convenient tools Oda uses. Which he set up forever ago, such as the Sea Prism Stone. This feels both silly because it seems like something a write would just throw in for a convenient explanation, but he set it up so long ago with Captain Smoker (I think he was the first one to use it in Loguetown???) that it really can’t be considered anything other than natural to the world and a good use of pre-established content.

Doflamingo has a low tier paramecia but he is a true master of his DF. I'd say he is the 2nd or 3rd best DF user behind Enel

To put this in the wild perspective that it is, Doflamingo is confident that he can take on an admiral, a whole entire island of people, the navy that are here, several hundred pirates, a warlord of the sea, luffy and crew, and, whether he likes it or not, the second in command of the revolutionary army all at once with what he has at his disposal right now. That's how wildly strong this guy is. This is a giant step up from Caesar. If Caesar was a 10 and Arlong was a 1, I think I'd say Doflamingo is probably a 20 in terms of power/influence/ability. Not only that, but we have a bird cage for the foreseeable future. He's controlling that, as well as doing everything else. That's another key fact to remember as we move forward. He's monstrously strong. Welcome to power scaling. lol

One of my fav villains in anime in Mingo. Oda wrote him so well making everyone despise him and giving him the devil fruit that fits him as a character but also what he stands for. Hate him but love him in the same time lol
