Having the Legendary Katey Sagal as "Doctorine," what a casting. She is perfect.

Jakob

Next up the best episode of the Live Action yet! Unironically, they did the Drum Island arc so good I think it's up there with the original!

Felreign

Apparently, they left out Luffy's sandals due to safety concerns for the actor; enclosed shoes are a lot safer.

Tylo

Choppers eyes and facial expressions are all motion captured from the voice actress's performance, thats what helps give so much life to him.

William K Wolf

Prepare yourselves... for the 20 MDs!!

Alluna

Oh God We're not gonna survive the next episode, I'm gonna find me some tissues

RealPersonMan

The first lady in the drum island village looks exactly like the woman luffy thinks is a hiking bear!

Bennett DuBois

My single favorite example of the crew of this show going above and beyond in faithful character design has got to be Mr 7. The only image we had was the silliest little SBS doodle Oda drew and they still somehow nailed it. I love this show.

Bennett DuBois

I think it's a SAG thing. They'd have to keep him from doing too many sorts of activities in scenes so it was either CGI or clogs lol

Ynkku

I'm not the biggest fan of the Live Action, BUT Chopper is great HAHA.

Michael Cyr

They also had another young actress who substituted for Chopper during filming. This helped with the other actors' eyelines. She also had a camera on her chest which captured the image that they would use for the reflection in Chopper's eyes.

Ben Asay

Thats who she was 😎

Ben Asay

Katey Segal is amazing as Kureha! 😎😎😎

Derek Cook

88 surgeons VS 20 MDs. FIGHT

Yathavan

Chopper could've gone reallllyyy badly like the famous Sonic The Hedgehog situation... props to the cgi artists!!!

Azael Santacruz

You were also right about the Miss Thursday ... she is a new original character for the Live action ... in fact Oda said she is the little Sister of Mr 4 (the guy with the bat and the Cannon who ate the Dog devil fruit) who was partner with Ms Merry Christmas (the mole lady) That's why the 2 brothers have similar baseball fighting styles!!

Azael Santacruz

And also i dont know if you catch on what Wapol mentioned about the Queen of the Fishman getting killed :( This was 10 yeas ago, so its a little easter egg to Queen Othohime (Shiraoshi's mom) 😢

Hasan Abdul-Jabbaar

I have been reading one Piece for so much longer but seeing Haylo and Kiss recognise characters and plot points MUCH faster than me is impressive and heart warming.
