E4 - Center Ace

Our weirdo quick duo had to show up late! Regardless, these new schools + Nekoma are obviously super formidable. We love meeting the new teams and can't wait to see where this goes. See you soon for the next one!-Haylo & Kiss 💕

The new teams are from a different prefecture. They’re all from Tokyo whereas Karasuno is from Miyagi prefecture. FYI. Because Tokyo is so large, multiple teams make it to Nationals (4, I think) vs just one team from Miyagi.

The guy you ladies noted with the black and white hair is named Bokuto. Absolutely one of my favorite secondary characters in all of Haikyuu. He’s like Hinata, but big boy version. He’s adorably ridiculous.

Wsgyan

Actually there was a special episode before season two introducing Lev you would’ve loved him even more !

Wsgyan

Also I’m saying it right now so you guys already know and mods can have it ready but there’s a special ending to season 2 it’s like less than 10 minutes and it’s on YouTube crunchy roll didn’t add it to the list of episodes but it does exist don’t forget to react to it at the same time as the last episode of s2 or before first episode of s3

Gamerunner15

It just occurred to me that you guys missed the OVA between seasons 1 and 2! You should definitely watch it even now. Also I'll echo others in calling out the special ending to season 2 is a must watch, it's only on YouTube I think!

Tyler

Every Hinata and Kenma interaction is so precious, Shoyo really brings him out of his shell and his teammates being so glad to see him socializing makes me tear up almost

NeonNyan099

I was thinking the same thing! I believe the OVA is called "Lev Appears!"

NeonNyan099

My favorite character makes an appearance! Hey Hey Hey!!

Andrei Kochergin

Lev means Lion in Russian, which also relative with cat theme of Nekoma

Sergei

Hehe, you shouldn't underestimate food delivery drivers in Japanese anime hehe

Lazygeneration

These teams are in a different region so we wouldn’t play them in a tourney unless we made it to nationals, and they did too

PG Modehouse

Ohhhhh dang I just realized that you could have watched the OVA between season 1 and 2. That would have taught you more about Nekoma's Lev.

“There are some flowers you can only see when you take detours.” One of my favorite lines in the entire series and an ideology that I implement in my own lyfe!

2026-09-06 10:00 Also I’ve noticed that you girls mention the music a decent amount. The composer for this show is Yuki Hayashi and he also does the music for another really popular anime My Hero Academia which I hope yall get into as well!
