This is what made onepiece set apart from other Animes.. Onepiece is the way of life .. Luffy asked same question to Zoro , to Nami, to Robin, to Sanji before helping them ..what they really want .. And then there is one and only GOAT Pokemon compared to this one when Ash had to fight with Misty or Brock and when they have to say good bye to each other at the end of journey or league...

"Well, that's how you are" is something i've taken from the show and used as a reminder in my own life. Such an amazing moment of growth for Sanji who was putting everyone else before himself.

This is not a spoiler, it’s a theory I’ve developed. Sanji has the Supreme King Haki of Love, Zoro has the Supreme King Haki of Death, and Luffy has the Supreme King Haki of Freedom. So, Sanji represents love, he’s completely devoted to conquering love, just as Zoro is devoted to conquering death and Luffy to conquering freedom. The three of them are similar in the strength of their conqueror spirits, and that’s why Luffy knew Sanji wasn’t being honest with himself.

One of the most painful parts for Sanji has to be letting someone he respects so much and who loves him eat falling apart, muddy food. You can tell he is feeding Luffy, but it’s also a reflection of how he wants to cause hurt to himself 😢

Luffy’s « that who you are » acceptation and smile after seeing Sanji being so mocked and belittled for his kindness by his blood relatives is healing for all of us. For his real family and for us that what made us like sanji so much. I was waiting for this reaction for a while, it’s one of my favorite scene. And the music should be illegal, instant tears!

Luffy was very close to death. Fighting the forest, then cracker, then Sanji, then the army, then the army again to get back after trying to tear his arms off. After eating his fill with cracker he almost starved to death using all his strength to stay there for Sanji. He couldn't use haki anymore with the last fight. Like wb before he died

I think a big part of why Sanji decided to leave the Straw Hats to protect Zeff is because he didn't believe Luffy could beat Big Mom. If Aarlong threatened to kill Zeff for a marriage, Sanji would beat him up personally. But this is Big Mom we're talking about. But the show teaches us that we have to trust Luffy. If Luffy says it will be okay, it will be okay. Sanji is going to remember that we shouldn't fear Big Mom. Big Mom should fear Luffy. Luffy is the future king of the pirates!!
