2026-09-06 10:00 Fun/sad fact: akasa's attack names are all names of fireworks and his compass needle looks like a snowflake because that's what his fiancee wore as a pin in her hair and her eyes had a snowflake shape to their iris... he subconsciously was latching on to her memory without even knowing why. And it's also the reason Akaza always had beef with Doma. Akaza never attacks women because he subconsciously sees them as victims like his fiancee who got killed by weak minded self-righteous "noble" men, whereas the "noble" cult leader Doma almost exclusively enjoys hunting young women in that cult of his and prey on them.

And another fun fact: people were freaking out that tanjiro warned Akaza that he's going to attack him instead of sneak attacking him.. but the irony is, if not for the fact that tanjiro is honorable, Akaza would have seen a sneak attack on him from behind as the same kind of weakness as poisoning a well. And he would NOT have graciously conceded the battle at the end, and muzan would have persuaded to keep fighting those "weak" people like tanjiro... It's tanjiro being honorable that allowed Akaza to call it quits and move on graciously.

Kevin Garcia

It truly broke my heart when he started destroying himself. What a movie.

Nadeem L

Wow you called it perfectly 'awesome battles and really depressing demon backstories'. Excellent reaction!!

Billy Dancel

The fighting and the music were beyond next level in anime that I've seen! I NEED MORE!

Hasan Abdul-Jabbaar

The best part about the title not being translated directly is that some don't necessarily expect Akaza! Also People have hopefully already pointed it out, but this is one of those anime films that gets HEAVY copyright strikes. So just be careful with the edited version.

Star.D.ust

I went to the cinema and watched this alone -- it was otherwordly!! ufotable is insane

Jon D. Dane

They really said, "wanna see us turn 20 million into 800?"

Jon D. Dane

Akaza did not deserve forgiveness or redemption, but Hakuji did😭

Alexander Ocean

Me too! This was so nostalgic watching with them!

Lazy

Calling Murata water breathing cute and childlike is hilarious, our boy is a demon slayer too!

BaldwinIV

The lore is, according to Doma, is that women and girls are more nutritious for demons because they can make babies, which is why Doma was able to defeat Akaza and knock him down from being Upper Rank Two to being Three. Akaza doesn't eat women because he subconsciously remembers Koyuki

Copyright issues don't apply here like they do on YouTube—so you don't have to deal with that stupid synchronization nonsense (I've checked over 10 channels featuring full reactions, and none of them have reported problems on Patreon).
