I never really thought about them escaping through a mirror inside Beges castle. But I guess the easiest explanation is that Brulees power can't affect a mirror inside Beges body that is technically also part of his body. And of course Bege would not be able to enter a mirror that is inside of him, so he would have been trapped there. The only thing they could have done would be to hide Caesar with that big mirror inside Bege and make him come out when they want to flee.

I just realised it never came up before, but those mid-episode break animations are called "Eyecatches".

I love how you can see the art style change during this arc. Action flows a little better.

My pops and I were kind of tough guys so we had our ins and outs. The Sanji/Judge bit kind of got me.

Even if Capone Had mirrors inside him, yes everyone could have escaped using Brulee from within him, but he himself could not have enter the mirror inside of him 😂 his bigger outer boddy was still exposed outside, so we would had leave him abandoned alone to die ☠️ Or maybe he did have mirrors big enought but there was not enought time to go inside him, take the mirror outside so he can also escape with everyone else, everything is happening in seconds before Katakuri recovered Brulee

Thank you for another great reaction! Forgive me if Im mistaken but is this your first time seeing the 'hero transformation'? It used to be a pretty common trope back in the day (not sure if they still do it now), like in sailor moon or power rangers, where the hero would transform from their regular everday appearance to like a really cool hero-version - and yeah, in many of them it starts by sort of like, drawn tastefully of course, taking their clothes off only to 're-garb' them into their heroic suits. That sequence was both a 'parody' sequence and the genuine thing at the same time. It's one of the coolest moments of the whole cake arc, and I love that they set it up by Germa 66 having a comic and fans as well. Thanks again!

Interesting that Ceasar Clown said to Judge "Your attitute has'nt changed" Just something to think about (no spoilers please)

I'm pretty sure the closest they see this kind of transformation so far was in One Punch Man, when Puri-Puri Prisoner first used his Angel Style. And that was clearly a parody. Maybe we should slip in some hero or magical girl shows into the future polls, for science...

to be honest big hag is way too powerful for luffy right here...so even if he WERE to try and kick her ass...her ass will just end up kicking him instead

Garuda keeps its original name as a proper noun. It describes a legendary divine bird or bird-man from Hindu, Buddhist, and Jain traditions. It is often translated or described as a mythical eagle, giant bird, or half-man, half-bird creature

Dr. Puppy

The babies don't know who Garuda is.. That hurts.
