Akira's past and insecurities are being revealed! We're so anxious to see what exactly is causing her behavior towards Marin. This ep was so wholesome as usual... we LOVE our new older friends and how they helped Juju here. Can't wait for the last ep and we are genuinely so upset that this is coming to an end already! Nothing has been announced for a third season. I’m terrified they won’t make a third. I bought all of the volumes of the manga after this season just to continue the story.

I think there’s just enough for a half season of 6 eps or a long movie. But that’s about it unfortunately.

While there are no official confirmations of a season 3 coming for My Dress Up Darling, the manga does continue beyond the point where season 2 ends. It's fairly common for people that enjoy an anime that doesn't have confirmed plans for continuation to finish it by reading the manga. At least, that's what I do. Actually, for me personally, even if the anime is slated to continue I often am too impatient to wait and simply end up reading the manga once I catch up to however far the anime has gotten. For this series since you react to it, it might be worth it to wait a bit to hear if a season 3 will be coming, but if months pass and there is still silence I would encourage you to go ahead and finish it by reading the manga if you want to.

Given this particular series's popularity I would be a little bit surprised if they don't finish the anime, but it's true that there are no guarantees. Still, less-popular (but no less amazing) romance/romcom mangas have been getting greenlit for more seasons beyond people's expectations, so there's definitely hope. (I'm super stoked for season 3 of Dangers in my Heart.)

Not sure if you were looking for suggestions, but since I just rewatched it again, I wanted to recommend "A Place Further Than the Universe". It's only 13 episodes so is a nice shorter series and is an emotional rollercoaster. Would 100% recommend!
