Honestly with apothecary, one piece and code geass, this might just be my favorite weekly lineup here.

Do we know how much mech anime the ladies have watched? Any Gundam or Neon Genesis? Just had the thought when they were talking about the juxtaposition of "religion" and science

RocketAdminW

You should go back to when they were showing footage about the girl and look at the backgrounds of the photos :)

Homerus

'wild what High schoolers get up to' Anime in a nutshell right there

Kokuutou92

I just had to make this

Kokuutou92

I think none, other than hxh all animes should be on YT or here right?

The origami cranes typically symbolize peace and healing, and folding a thousand of them is done to grant a wish or to pray for recovery from illness. The eye symbol being bird-like and potentially connected to the cranes is an interesting thought too.

8+ minute post episode discussion you love to see it

Hayley immediately could tell it was British History.... Yo, you two are the first siblings I have EVER met that were raised so well to standards I wish to see. Plus, clear-as-day decency and other things I could say. I say this honestly and I'm 31!!! I could tell how intelligent and overall just 'good in character' the both of you were just from observing your One Piece reactions for this last year. It was a pleasure during heartbreak, for me. That's the thing- Because you both actually do authentic reactions and not the audience footlicking fakery that other "reactors" do, the real essence of the both of you can be read. I'm truly complimenting you both, and it isn't just because of the little history scene in this episode. I've seen a lot and I'm impressed.

I never connected the eye appearing when the Geass is used as a bird, but I like the idea of connecting it to a crane. The 1000 cranes grant a wish. Is the Geass power a wish the holder has?

No way! Evangelion gotta be on the polls asap.

2026-09-19 05:00 The plot THICKENS. Btw, since no one bothered to say it yet, it's pronounced 'Gi-iss', *hard G*, like in game. Very excited for the next one!

Brother, most of humanity consists of decent people. Social media has convinced us of otherwise. You're right to the extent that when it comes to authentic reactions, these 2 are few of the rare exceptions and my favorite reaction channel as well btw.

Now we need a Geass counter to see if he uses it 1,000 times ahahahaha

Flubbedsquid

AFAIK the only anime they've seen not on the channel is HxH, but I could be wrong.

Code Geass is very much a product of it's time, there are so many mid-2000s anime tropes. We have "high school students save the world (kinda)", "Wow, what a coincidence, my mortal enemy is a transfer student in my class!" and of course, "unnecessary butt shot."

Paulo

Wow the crane theory blew my mind.
