Another short Cover Story and this one was a surprise! It's so fun to see stories of characters that we never thought we be focused on. Such a short and sweet look into Caribou's experience. Thank you all so much for being here with us and we hope you have a great weekend!-Haylo & Kiss 💕

Yeah I love all these covers stories except one but maybe I didn't give it a chance. We'll cross that bridge when you ladies get there and see how you both feel. Enjoy them all though

Nido

everyone's favorite character caribou

Daniel Schott

Oda manages to give even creeps and "monsters" some lovable or redeeming qualities.

Leighton

I’ll never understand why the cover stories aren’t just used in place of filler episodes or non canon movies

chieboy32

Well Oda draws all cover stories for a reason. And you can bet that it will tie-in to the main story at some point.

Franky

I really hope we are able to get more cover stories without the narrator.. Thats the only thing that ruins this for me

Snowman9712

Because they tried. Early on, they adapted those, like Buggy's adventures or the Koby + Helmeppo training arc. But those episodes got bad ratings, so they stopped There are some that got adapted recently, but overall that's the reason

Snowman9712

Pls don't mention names of characters they haven't met yet

Snowman9712

I don't know if you remember, but we actually saw Drake arrive on that winter island with Scotch guarding a big metal gate back in episode 513. So that's probably how he first got in contact with Kaido's crew

Pioka

They didn’t have worse rating than recap episodes so it just seems a bit lazy

Rello Mani

haylo n kiss have advanced observation haki

klairvoyage

I have a self-hosted website that has them all, where they could read them all at their own pace & with the actual subtitles for each page (instead of the TTS paraphrasing everything), though idk if they'd be down for that kind of format

klairvoyage

yeah the bad ratings things was just internet speculation back in the day, we don't actually know the reason why

Snowman9712

You could propose it in #feedback over on discord or @ Oriem directly. He's the one that provides these for them

Dale Cooper

I've been saying this for decades. You could also expand them a little with some known lore as a foreshadowing. Imagine Enel's short story with sprinklings of what we know now.

klairvoyage

oh yeah I actually was talking to Oriem on Discord a bit over a year ago, when they were about to react to the Cover Stories for the 1st time & did help with that and also the starting timestamps for the episodes... funnily enough I only started setting up the website exactly 2d after the last time we talked lol I haven't seen Oriem around, so I had assumed somebody else (like you) took over, but thanks for letting me know, I just texted him in case they wanna use that instead

Snowman9712

Yeah, Oriem isn't as active compared to some other mods like frits or Elina, but he's still there. I'm not a mod myself, just helping out where I can. I'm in contact with Elina regarding the patreon comments, so mod assistant if you will Good luck 👍
