And we were left to wait 8 months until season 2 but for you girls it's next Thursday ahahaha. Even in the end we don't get any answers just more questions.

in other translations lelouch say to C2 he's the devil (meaning a demon king, not exactly the one from the bible)

Flubbedsquid

It's kinda the same thing. "Maō" or "Akuma no Ō" literally mean "Evil spirit king" and "Demon king" but they ARE also used to refer to the Christian devil in Japanese. Like if you were a Japanese Christian you would call Satan one of those things.

Renz Lenard Puga

This is arguably the most brutal cliffhanger in anime imo. Mainly the reason is because Code Geass is an anime original show, there was no manga or light novel of it. So fans had no way to know to what happens next for a LONG time, until season 2 came like a year later

FlyingHavok

that helmet reveal scene resulted in a lot of profile pictures being updated immediately afterwards.

Spinzaku kicking everything f:ed up. Lelouch methods aren't good either, but nothing will change if nothing is done. I do like that nobody is truly evil and nobody is truly good. Everyone is just going through their own emotional traumas and making bad decisions from those.
