I was working on a video idea and got annoyed with the steps to make a mesh into a pillow, adding cloth sim, enabling and setting pressure, removing gravity, doing other settings, adding a subsurface modifier, etc. So I scripted it and am putting it here for you! I'll be posting an actual video later this weekend.

Just install the add-on per usual, select a mesh (try a subdivided cube squished on the Z axis) in object mode and search for 'Quick Pillow' in the operator search menu. There are a bunch of settings in the popup settings window. You can always tweak the modifier settings afterward. Once you get a pillow you like, just apply the modifiers!

Give it a try and tell me what you think.

Hi Johnny. I have downloaded quickpillow and installed seemingly successfully. However, when i search for it, it is not found. I can see reference to quickpillow in the scripting window. I am on a PC running Blender 3.3.1. Any suggestions?

Thanks. Yes, the box is checked. The cube I divided using 20 loop cuts in the x and y direction. In object mode with the cube selected, I use F3 to search for quick or pillow with nothing found. The zip file download is 2kb. My processor is AMD Ryxan 9 6900 HS 32 GB, GPu etc 3080, running Win 11. I disabled all plugins as well to see if there may be a conflict. it made no difference. All quite odd really.

Tried the above with 3.3.1, 3.4 and 3.5. After running the .py file I can see this in the editor 'Modules Installed () from 'C:\\Users\\gsali\\Downloads\\QuickPillow (1)\\QuickPillow\\__init__.py' into 'C:\\Users\\gsali\\AppData\\Roaming\\Blender Foundation\\Blender\\3.5\\scripts\\addons' However, it does not show up in the search function (F3) using 'quick' as the search function in any version. Thanks for the help. I don't want to waste your time. I suspect there remains a conflict somewhere and i"ll poke around some more.
