-------------------------------------------

I am working on some new asset utility nodes for renderable measurements that you can join to an object. I wanted to share them with you, my Patrons, before I get around to making a video about them or putting them up anywhere else. This was made in the Blender 3.4.0 release candidate, so you will want to use at least that version for it to work.Nodes:- Add to a mesh to select an edge and get a measurement callout- Add to any tree to Pick 2 objects and get a measurement callout between them- Add a Face corner angle callout- Add a Face area callout- Take a value and change it to a string with selectable units (km,hm,dam,m,dm,cm,mm,μm,nm) and decimal places.Give it a try and let me know what you think.

Hi Johnny. The sides of the plane are about 2m in length but the distance between two points (empty, and empty.001) is measured in centimeters. The Length node output 2.98 but the text unit should be 0 not -1. I am not sure where the logic switch is now to check for the units.

Hmm I wonder if scale was not applied correctly. Argh, well like I said, this is a preview 🤔 still working out the bugs.

In the value to length node, if you insert an ‘add’ node and add a number between 0 and 1, it corrects the unit.

I realized that Decimeters and Centimeters were reversed. at -1 it should be dm and -2 is centimeters. Version 2.1 corrects this.
