Hey Comrades

I wanted to check in and show you what I’ve been working on lately.

As some of you know, the end of last year was packed with events, followed by a holiday through the first half of January. While I had some artwork banked to keep things running, the truth is I’ve been feeling a bit of burnout. After being away from drawing for over a month, I felt incredibly rusty and unsure of myself when I finally sat back down at the tablet.

So, I decided to strip it back and go back to basics. For the past week or so, I’ve been taking 30–60 minutes every day to do pure "life drawing" studies. I set up a slideshow on my monitors with a folder of 2,500+ nude references, shuffling every 2 minutes.

It’s been low-pressure, just focusing on learning and improving. Honestly, I wasn't even meant to share this collection of micro-studies—they were just for me to get my groove back—but I thought I should keep you guys posted on how I’m doing!

In short: I’m all good, just working behind the scenes.

A few other exciting updates:

Game Dev: My development partner and I are currently working on design documents for two potential game ideas. Once we settle on a concept, I want to make that a priority, which is why I’m pressing pause on taking commissions right now.

Merch: Keep an eye out—you might see a new 3D printed figure of my design very soon!

Thanks for sticking with me while I recharge and create cool new things. Big messy conclusion to Halloween series, perhaps some holiday themed artwork, game concept art, there is plenty to draw.

Resets are good and nessary from time to time, I like the micro-studies they feel and look authentic and now a days that says alot. So good sir, keep on, keeping on, and I think it is safe to say that we will all continue to enjoy your craft where ever it may lead.

you can crush it in game dev I'm sure! your "brand" alone is already bigger than most artists. A full-blown game would be amazing!
