I just finished leading a 4 day burlesque intensive called Stripper's Holiday. This is a time where burlesque dancers come from all over the country and world to study with me. I had someone come as far as Scotland for this one! Everyone just left today and my house is quiet and all I can hear is the whir of the dishwasher and the washing machine. The sound is lulling me to sleep. Maybe I should nap before work? What do you think?

Congrats on sharing your teachings, that must be very gratifying. I've recently discovered yoga nidra. It's claimed that 45 minutes of non-sleep deep rest can be as effective as a 3 hour nap. There are tons of guided sessions of this or self-hypnosis on Youtube to try. Being able to quickly put the nervous system into a relaxed state is a life-changer for alleviating chronic background stress that just starts to feel "normal."
