lingering in each other‘s arms.

hey, remember the eldritch minotaur MOTM from almost exactly three years ago? i posted the painting on march 23rd, 2018! i want to draw some older monster of the month designs again, and these two just so happened to be my first choice. (which other MOTMs of the past would you like to see more of?)

I do remember them 🥰. Beautiful!

The skintones here are particularly good, are you doing something differently or is this just general improvement I'm seeing?

looking good! i browsed through your motm tag and the ones i'd like to see more of would be: feathered serpent, phoenix, heavenly naga, lady of the blood moon, rain bringer and bioluminescent naga :)

thank you so much -- i think it's both! i feel like the way i render skin has been improving in general, but the technique and brushes i use have also changed over the last few months. i'm using a textured brush that has a very traditional media feel to it (it's the procreate brush called 'gloaming' under the 'drawing' category) and a more painterly method, so the result looks more organic, if that makes sense?

thank you tons! pretty much all of those designs are among my personal favourites too so i'd love to draw them again!
