so um. my hand is cramping. a lot. 

i clearly went way overboard with this "sketch," and turned it into a full-fledged drawing with a pretty insane amount of detail. it shows a different side of this saintly space monster than what we saw in the painting, directly based on bejewelled catacomb saints. it was oddly therapeutic to draw, but my hand really needs a rest now lol.

ahh i see i never commented on this, but it is absolutely stunning! and i have been hoping SO much that you would get inspired by catacomb saints eventually and work them into a piece because im mildly obsessed with the concept of them, super cool to see it executed in your style! that musselin stretching over the skull is gorgeous.

thank you so much! and same -- i learnt about catacomb saints a few years ago and their aesthetic has subtly influenced other pieces of art and designs since, but this is the first time it's been Super Overt. (i generally find anything related to catacombs and crypts super fascinating, and have had the fortune of visiting several Roman ones!)

This is so gorgeous and beautiful in every way. I love works that have deep details to it, the smaller the detail the better. This gives me excitement just by looking at it, I would like to make this a wallpaper honestly. The yellow and bright tones blend so nicely with everything else about the Saint. Are we allowed to use these images as profile pictures too ? I mean of course with immediate credit found within my bio. But if not then I still won’t mind at all just to save it to my album and have it ready for next time I decide to change background/wallpaper. 💀🌼🌻🕯✨💕

aaa thank you so so much, i'm incredibly happy you enjoy my art -- and i also want to welcome you to my patreon page! :D my wrist still aches a lil thinking about drawing all the details of this piece, but i still feel like it was worth it since it came out looking so freakin' cool! there really is something special about art that has an excessive abundance of teeny tiny details. as for your question i'm afraid the answer is no, sorry, but my art is deeply personal so i don't allow other people to use it as profile pics. the majority of my art depicts OCs that me and my partner are very emotionally invested in, and i pour a lot of heart and soul into every design and every piece. (the only time someone can use my art as profile pics is when it's a commission i made specifically for them, like the icon commissions i do through the $75 tier.) but thank you *so* much for being courteous and asking about it, and for reaffirming so clearly that you understand if it's not allowed! i super appreciate that! ;u;
