thanks to everyone who suggested these design prompts: andarial (an astrology theme); bees (thunderstorm); ciyu (candles, wilted flowers, incense); akira (mechanical naga); and hyenastuff (guardian of a secret/forbidden archive).

(for august, i'm drawing a possessed suit of armour, as suggested by artsyarchi! this prompt was 2nd place in the july poll -- my apologies for not getting an august poll up in time. the executive dysfunction has been Real lately and i procrastinated until it was too late lol. so i hope it's an okay solution to let the most recent poll decide!

also, in all honesty, i'm starting to run out of new suggestions to use for the polls, which somehow makes it more challenging to put them together. you can help by going to THIS post and comment with your ideas for MOTM design prompts! i may also start re-using more older suggestions that have already appeared in polls but that didn't win. and question: how would you guys feel if i sometimes add designs prompts of my own invention to the MOTM polls? i prefer to use patron suggestions, but it could come in handy if the polls need "padding," if that makes sense?)
