sometimes a date is just a witch summoning his demonic boyfriend to spend the night together.

summoning rituals are often portrayed as dark, gloomy, and ominous, but i decided to go for a less conventional, bright, and airy aesthetic. the perspective was tricky -- the viewer is supposed to be seeing them directly from above, laying together in the middle of the circle, but i admittedly exaggerated the perspective on the candles. the end result is pretty cool though, i think?

anyway -- thanks to ciyu for suggesting a MOTM themed on candles, wilted flowers, and incense, which i thought sounded like ingredients for a summoning ritual!
