forgotten god (painting) // july MOTM // nsfw (Patreon)

forehead against forehead, a gentle hand rubbing his thigh. god, he feels so full.

we have only explored 5% of the ocean, and no longer remember many of the deities that once kept us safe as we sailed those dangerous waves. but this forgotten god patiently waited in his underwater halls, until someone found him again.

there’s a lot of small detail that got a bit lost when i shrunk this image, but i’ve included a few extra close-ups to show what i mean. thanks to ciyu for suggesting a "god no one believes in anymore" as a MOTM design prompt!
