Due different reasons I've got kinda burnt out, I really enjoy making the comic, I love the feeling when I finish a page but I'm slower than I'd like, so I thought on focusing on making the sketches for more pages and then finish them a bit more calmly and with a bit more time. That way I can make you wait less for the story, because I really don't like doing that. I also think that way I can keep up with other drawings, idk but I feel I've drawn more lately

So yeah, I'd like to know what you think about this

That would work great. Just don’t stress yourself out too much. Stress can lead to disease!

Why not finish a sketch, and let it simmer. See if you enjoy it and then work on it, art is a process and just making a bunch of sketches sort of does count as doing drawings in my opinion

That makes sense, if you want to keep showing us sketches to move the story along and then post the completed art when you're ready, and sprinkle in the other stuff that you want to share too.

I like that he takes his time to work at the end. From the beginning he said that the comic was not the typical NSFW comic. So I think it's okay to take your time and if you want or it's another option to release it in the form of several seasons or pages. That would give him time to rest and work.

I think doing rough thumbnails for a couple of pages could be a good start! Then you can worry about cleanup and colors when you feel you’re satisfied with the amount of pages you got + the content/story itself done within after week or longer. Just remember to take it at your pace, experiment, and see what works best for you! \o/

I'm down for whatever works best for you! Love seeing the sketches tbh

ShinSilver

I think doing the sketches and working on pages as you see fit overall is what I personally would suggest. I like everything you make and you've been a big inspiration for me. Artist to artist, I would rather keep supporting you so you can do for what works best for your drive. I

Losing motivation to do art, is a separate stress in itself because you don't know when it ends sometimes.

I like that idea of doing sketches and then finishing the pages later on. Seems like it makes things less stressful for you, and keeps your audience updated on what's in store.

You see, in my case whenever I make the sketch for the next page I don't post the first version, it's always the final version of it and the one that will be inked and colored, the same would apply for these. I'd not just spam page sketches, I'd post one by one, make sure they're what I want for the story and then, just like now, ink and color two or three per month, main difference is that this way I can try and deliver at least 4 "pages" per month. The story is already written, so I won't be nailing it

Whatever gets the story out faster, I'm in favor for. But above all, do whatever it takes to reduce burnout. Your health matters more than productivity!

Id love to see more sketches. Ive been invested in the story since the comic started and although I do wanna see them eventually fuck i feel like more sketch pages can get us there faster

Jawbreaker

As long as it helps, then I think that would be swell

Raven

What if you did drawings of the town they live in different seniory and stuff

Alverick

Seeing more sketches sounds great! Tho more important is just adjusting your work however you need, and if this helps with burnout and helps motivate you, hell fucking yeah. And if it's something else, it'll be something else, no harm in trying

somethinRN

I agree, have fun makeing the story, and rough sketching

Bokebo Ward

You do you, buddy. The worst thing is losing your energy or joy doing this. So take your time, change your methods and order. We'll still be here. ❤️

It's up to you. Your health is more important than anything else.

I'm sure we all agree that you not burning out is the most important thing. We love these characters and want to see this story through. If sketching a bunch and making us wait a little longer is what helps you through, then that's fine by me.

Pal

However you want to go about it is fine, I'll still support you regardless 👍

JustEki

I think this sounds like a great idea. And hey, if you try it and don't like it, you can always come back to your current flow or try another one. 👍

Silver Kodiak

I think that's a great idea it will let you express more pages of the story.

BlakeKaplan

Sound great, take your time and enjoy your process!

Khen

I came for the big deer but I stayed for the story. Pun intended. If writing it out with sketches helps, just do that.
