James Stainer

hey do you have a any sugestion ive been trying to install this mod for months

sabergold

Hi @julionib, or anyone, can you tell me how to use the mod so that the grapple binds it closer together ? Like in the picture on this page it shows the trucks basically stuck to the building, how do I do that? Is there a way to adjust how far the target is allowed to be from the point you attach it to? I do not know how to message you directly so I am asking here

JulioNIB

check hotkeys in blog post, X - Retract cable

Mr Scruffles

For some reason the sounds aren't playing for the launcher and the wingsuit model isn't showing. Any help?

Kakowood

hi, mod erro external..help please

Kakowood

Hi.. There is no error message after I login the annoying sound as if I had a short on my mic. this only happens after I log in from the mod. sry my english

mastibek

I have not works mod and the problem with login

JulioNIB

send me message with the link that opens when you press L

JulioNIB

send me message with the link that opens when you press L

Srinu lucky

Im an offline player but I paid 2 dollars for just cause mod now when I installed them it's asking for connection is there any offline script.. please do worth that money

JulioNIB

what happens when you try to login?

Srinu lucky

For Everytime opening the game it's asking to verify with patron.. I already done once but for Everytime logging in it's asking to verify.. is there any offline script

JulioNIB

after you login it should not ask for login again (screen asking to press L to login), it only will check if you are a Patreon when you start to use the script features, a message appears on bottom, and it only checks once per game/scripts load

Srinu lucky

Is this purchase is permanent ?? Or any further payments needed

JulioNIB

no, only for new mods released after your pledge stops :)

Srinu lucky

My game is being stopped saying that( gta5 is stopped working)... when im firing more hooks to helicopter.. any solution

JulioNIB

some game crash may happen when we shoot too much ropes

JulioNIB

what happens exactly? did you installed scripthookV and scripthookVDotNet? ctrl+N shows the mod menu?

Ken

Do I have to pay every month in order to keep this mod working? Or is it a one time verification thing? Also, will it still work with internet disconnected?

JulioNIB

one time payment, yes, need internet

idlehands

I tried this mod while also running lspdfr and it started duplicating nearby peds until I fell under the map and the game crashed.

JulioNIB

mmm, thats odd this mod dont create peds, are you sure its my mod that is creating the peds? make the situation happen again and then remove my jc scrip´t dll file, reload scripts and see if issue still

JulioNIB

just tested and its working fine, this mod depends on aiming to work. maybe its other mod

Diego Van Asperen Vries

Really weird, aiming doesn't work for me, and I ony have your mods installed, and some other external mods, but those dont interacht with aiming

Michael Tramaglino

I just bought your MOD and installed it, wouldn't you know, when I press Ctrl+E Nothing happens, When I press H, Nothing happens. Please Help, What Am I missing ??

JulioNIB

check hotkeys, there is no Ctrl+E :) Ctrl + N - Show mods menu Left Mouse Button - When hook mode On a hook will be launched when you shoot Space - While moving to a target in mid air press space to parachute F - Release player hook from helicopter Z - Release hooks from player vehicle Ctrl + H - Toggle hook mode on/off X - Retract cable E - Use wingsuit (related message must be on screen) but the mod is active by default, so, maybe is not even being loaded, press Ctrl + N to show the mods menu check the troubleshooting: <a href="http://gtaxscripting.blogspot.com.br/2016/05/ScripthookVDotNet-Troubleshooting.html" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://gtaxscripting.blogspot.com.br/2016/05/ScripthookVDotNet-Troubleshooting.html</a>

707

JulioNIB

mmmm are you sure? how exactly you tested to make sure the issue was this mod? i will tezt here anyway

707

sorry i was testing the older version by accident , i thought 1.2.2 was the latest version but i figured out its not now! thank you anyway!

dave buban

hello there, I am not entirely sure but I think the game updating made the mod not work anymore? It said " Your game version changed, download the latest version of this script" which i believe i have ( JC3Mod1.2.2d)

JulioNIB

you probably installed the file from "JC3Mod1.2.2d.zip" that is outdated (i will remove from the post) download and install the file "JC3Mod.zip", it has a OIV file for easier setup

Esa

Hey Julio how do I disable the grapling hook, clicking enter to enable it false doesnt do anything... I want to use the grappling hook sometimes but use other weapons right now....

JulioNIB

there is a hotkey to toggle, ctrl+h if i can remember well

JulioNIB

isn't, you probably had an issue, describe what is happening instead of say shit

Minecraft mods

No, it worked perfectly for me, I just finished, and now the hook doesn't show up every time I do a mission. Very good mod.

Minecraft mods

I deleted the jc3 folder from the scripts folder and I still have the mods installed

JulioNIB

you didn't removed the main thing that is the script file in gta Scripts folder

Ruben Gomez

you ever figure out your issue Isaac

shane withenshaw

keep getting OPS sign in failed after reloading the script with insert key.. patreon page says sign in update success. any clue what the problem could be?

JulioNIB

check the message i sent to you

matt

I logged in with patreon in the game with ctrl n using the $5 pledge and it says success but when I press insert and then ctrl h several times it still doesn't work. No reticle shows up and left click does nothing. Updated everything...

Terence Zimmer

For some reason I can't even use the mod, it pops up that I need to update the files, and when I do it still pops up.

JulioNIB

update what files? send me message

JulioNIB

mod appears in ctrl+n menu? make sure the mid is Enabled in just cause mod menu

Alex Caldwell

is there possibility for controller support for hook button? if not that is fine but otherwise the mod seems very odd that all weapons are affected. is there an addon for a seperate/replacement Grappling Hook weapon? i have noticed there is a batman grappling gun with no proper function on Gta5-mods.com, making it a standalone would be great because its hard to constantly switch in the heat of combat and it just adds to your weapons basic function (shooting). - Love the mod, just find it unfortunate that i cannot use it with my style of play, and it would almost fit into the vanilla game as a standalone. (being able to blast people away, quick switch to the grapple, back to normal guns all without hotkeys would create some very skilled and intense gameplay.

Vinod kumar Akula

GTA keeps crashing frequently. What should i do?

Mark Bell

every time i shoot the grappling gun my game crashes, anything i can do?

Stapity

where i can find the complete archive?

Tony Baldacci

Hi Julio - followed all of the instructions for installation, but I don't see the JC mod on the NIB menu when I press Ctrl-N. Help. ;-)

JulioNIB

did you downloaded latest version?

yp huang

I switched to another browser test, and the interface that popped up was: "Unable to connect to this page safely This may be because the site uses expired or insecure TLS security settings. If this continues to occur, please contact the owner of the website. The TLS security settings are not set to the default settings, which may also cause this error. "Is it my problem or the website?

Jason Bradshaw

Awesome... it's mostly working now but a bit glitchy. Keeps crashing after using it for a while but still pretty good!

José

Im having problems to install this mod i follow the instructions and press CTRL +N but nothing happens

JulioNIB

did you installed scripthookvdotnet and scripthookv?

BGainful

A batman mod could be made from this, looks pretty gnarly.

Surya Singla

I'm relatively new to modding and I'm not sure where to put the wingsuit model. Do I need to use OpenIV for it? Also, it says that it will auto generate the ini for the key bindings, but I cannot find that. Any advice?

JulioNIB

the script is working? the .ini file with same name of the script file will be generated in scripts folder if all is working fine. you need openiv to install the wingsuit model, check the readme

Mateusz Michalak

Hi JulioNIB. When I was looking for your mod Just Cause 3 grappling hook I discovered that I must pay for it... not like in the past. But, I was wondering what makes you that decision? And I thought and thought ... and I figured that times is changing and making mods like this consume many of your private time. So you decided to create patreon for these people they want to support you and your work. I think you are very good modder and you deserve for little support. In the begining I was confused about paying you every month some cash, but I decided to do that (2$) because I like your mods. In the meantime if I decide to cancel my support I can do that but we will see in the future. Best wishes for you :D

Mateusz Michalak

Hmmm, my game after 5 minutes is frozen when I use Just Cause 3 grappling hook but I don't know why...

Prinze Dipa

Hi My control + N is show up. and iam enabled: True. But I cant use any weapons to grappling hook. Why ?

JulioNIB

Harish Bhagat

Anthony Cisneros

i did all the steps but Ctrl +N doesn't do anything? Any suggestions?

JulioNIB

if i can remember well its Z, i need to test

EmojBeBoi

what is the xbox controller input for this mod?

Kins Patreon

thebrickprince

JulioNIB

what happens when you try to open the text file?

LikeATrollFace

I always end up getting "arithmetic operations resulted in overflow." when i try to shoot anywhere, no issues in the DotNet log whatsoever.

박성민

I bought it as if I were eager to. I will use it again.
