🔧 I Swapped My PC Case and GPU and Entered Hardware Hell (Temporarily) (Patreon)

Here's a quick summary of the chaos that unfolded:

• No fans spinning, no lights, no display — the PC powered on but acted like it had stage fright.

• Forgot the Commander Core — turns out Corsair's RGB and fans don't run on hopes and prayers.

• No GPU detected — my RTX 5090 was installed perfectly… invisibly. Not even NVIDIA’s installer believed it existed.

• Had to boot using integrated graphics — because the 5090 was basically doing cosplay as a ghost.

• Hotspot temp said 255°C — unless the card was secretly mining on the sun, it was a clear sensor glitch.

• Fans were spinning but not controllable in iCUE — turns out mixing original AIO fans with random Corsair ones breaks detection logic. Corsair said: “not my children, not my problem.

Also got problems afterwards with AI software and compatibilities but... Whatever, it's all over for now, let's rest a bit 😵
