FR : MapTool a longtemps été une référence dans le fonctionnement des maps et des objets manquants. Et pourtant... cela ne suffit pas parfois à trouver les coupables de "ciel bleu uniquement" , les objets manquants et des textures manquantes.

Voilà la philosophie de NIEXT, tout est passé au peigne fin : les fichiers .sco et .sli, véhicules ia, objets 3d, textures, etc. Si la map est incomplète, cela se verra immédiatement. ET surtout : un compilateur est intégré qui permet d'éviter cette situation, qui empêchera toute compilation de map si quelque chose manque dedans et permet aussi un test dans un environnement isolé à partir du pack créé. Donc : fini les galères d'installation de map avec NIEXT. Le vieux réflexe MapTool et chercher un par un les .sco et .sli manquants est bientot révolu pour les joueurs d'OMSI 2. Le nouveau réflexe sera de dire au créateur de la map : tu n'avais qu'à compiler ta map avec NIEXT !
