We unfortunately had to say goodbye to our cat, Pasquale, on February 24th.

We'd been spending extra time caring for him for the last couple of years as old age was catching up to him, but it felt very sudden. It still feels very sudden. It's been incredibly hard on both of us.

We adopted him in 2010 and had him in our life for 16 years. He moved with us from MA to AZ and back multiple times, and was such a wonderful cat to take on a road trip. We even took road trips with him just for the joy of his company. He loved to ride and explore hotel rooms, and he never tried to leave our side. He was our little guy, he meant so much to us. Every year we knew him he was an absolute joy and blessing. We'll miss him so much.

He inspired a lot of Jojo and even the Eldritch horror that Jojo could embody, from his late night yowling to waking up to him sleeping on our face.♥

This is the first page of a comic we've ever made without Squale in our life, and it was a very difficult thing to start. We called him our CEO, and he will always be considered an integral part of TOY and LIFT for us.
