@Arkenian: Not "they," just Liam. I'm expecting Milo to work on mellowing him out. But I guess from S&O's comment (thanks!) that it's being around Eli that has him on edge, rather than thinking about illegal activities around bonfires, as I thought. It all makes me a little sad, because I thought Liam was the cute one back in the day.

The silent conversation he’s having with Milo across the room has presented him said opportunity to leave :) He’s got work to get back to that he was forced to abandon at the start of this chapter. Next page has a panel that will bring it back full circle as the chapter ends

Looming deadlines aren't the only reason Liam needs to get back to work, I think he needs a bit of an escape from having to think about the "Dad Situation" for a bit
