The shades of blue for this scene are beautiful, I can't get enough of it

This brought me back to the first volume in style and feel. Question: was this intentional to boost Milo feeling like a kid in the presence of his agent or in this situation? It feels like scenes in their flat are coloured warmer which draws back to early on in their relationship when they were hanging out in Milo’s dad’s flat. Scenes with mostly blueish hues seem to correspond with times when Milo or Liam feel like things are out of their control or they feel younger than they are (this was often used in their school scenes early on) Not sure if I’m using the classical art study courses from college too much here or if I’m spot on.

If the colour thing isn’t intentional, look into making it intentional perhaps. It adds something I cannot currently put into words

I understand perfectly, and as they keep growing up and get more comfortable in their adulthood, the references will start to get further and further apart, which will make the times you use them have even bigger impacts. As they keep growing, they’ll react with different emotional nuances as well, which would support experiments too. I’m basically applauding the use of colour in your work, even if unintentional, for how it supports and reinforces what you’re conveying. Keep experimenting, playing with such concepts! I hope, by pointing this out that you’ll perhaps find other avenues that you may have not thought of in your future work (honestly hope this comes across as supportive and somewhat adoring instead of condescending)

Isn’t Roger also his stepdad? I feel like I would never be able to call my stepdad “mister” 😅
