they say you can still find traces of white face paint on that bench to this day

______

That's a wrap! ♥ Tripping Over You is done! And only a few days after its 12-year anniversary! The whole thing feels unreal.

We feel like this is a pretty good time to stop and invite you to our Discord, if you're not already a member. We'd love to hang out and chat as we give this iteration of the characters a send-off.

Otherwise, let's chat about our next steps!

______

Our first order of business is to Kickstart the final book. That whole pandemic thing threw a huge spanner in the works for physical books, and changed the landscape as we knew it for self-printing.

The last book we printed was Volume 5. Our original plans had been for a 7 book series, but we're leaning towards making one larger book to finish out the series, instead of two as we originally planned. We'd love to hear from our patrons about what they think of this last book being a Rather Big Volume 6; it'll be roughly 300 pages, 100 pages longer than Volume 3. We'll share further news about that here as soon as we have it, but please feel free to leave a comment with your thoughts.

We also have TWO 18+ extras to finish, that we've been dying to make time for for ages! They'll be out soon now that main updates are wrapped up. We'll share news about those here first, as well!

Lastly, the next webcomic! You'll get a first look at the finalized designwork later this week, along with its title and an introduction to its plot. We expect to start posting actual pages here by mid-April, if not sooner - they'll be Patreon-exclusive for a bit while we build a backlog, as well. ♥

That's all for now! Please share your thoughts here in the comments, or swing by the Discord! We love and appreciate you all for being here, and look forward to the future! How are YOU feeling? ♥

I can't believe it's over! You're comic was one of my first bl webcomics which paved the way for me finding all sorts of wonderful queer comics over the years. I'll miss these characters very much, but I'm glad to see them all getting a good ending and I look forward to see what y'all are doing in the future : ] Personally, I'm totally fine with one big 6th volume, especially if that's easier on you both.

This is so bittersweet! Thank you for this amazing work, and glimpse into the lives of Milo and Liam these past 12 years. I’m gonna miss them!

This is beautiful. I'm tearing up reading "End Tripping Over You". This story helped me thought the toughest of times and I hope you realize how important and moving it is! Also, wasn't an epilogue also planned? I think printing two volumes would add to the cost right? If so, I prefer one big volume.

When you do the Kickstarter, will you do a tier that includes hardcopies of all of the volumes?

Brian Harvey

I had mixed feelings about clicking the little heart thingy. It's a great page, and a great final page, but if we're finished with Liam and Milo I'm going to miss them a lot! I discovered TOY partway through its run, so maybe things were different when you started, but these days, at least, my impression is that it's hard to find webcomics that *don't* have queer characters, so I think TOY would have been just as important to me if the characters had been straight, but with the same personalities and artistry. P.S. I abstain about the book format.

Hard to believe it's over! I found ToY when I was in high school, and now I'm 25! It was such a formative part of my growing up and becoming an adult (a lot like Milo and Liam!) and while I'm sad to see it go, I can't wait to see what you guys do next! 💖

No issues with the bigger volume. Sad it’s ended but can’t wait to see what’s next! Suggestion: in a year or so, see about doing a hardcover bound collector or special edition, all six volumes in three or four big or even annotated books or something. Do wait a year or so, let me get started on saving up for it…

I can’t believe it’s over

Congrats on completion! It's completely mind blowing. I've been a reader since at least 2012 and it boggles my mind--truly. Thank you so much for the story. I'm good with a big ol' combined volume, but like a few others have said, a collection/complete bundle of some form or another would be aces.

I am not really of any specific opinion either way. I'd want to get the final books, whether it's one big one or two smaller ones. Do you think you'll reprint the other, earlier books. I still need the first and the third books and I'm hoping you'll offer those again soon too.

I also can't believe the journey is over! It's been a long and crazy ride, and I've loved every minute of it <3
