10/26/2025 strip, without obscuring dialogue balloons (don't get too excited) (Patreon)

somebody in the Regular Patreon yesterday was like "hey we should put up this strip without the dialogue balloons on the Other Patreon" and i was like

okay

but at the time i drew this, it felt weird to draw stuff i knew was going to be obscured, so all we've got is some ranma-style nippleless boobies under here

here it is with the words, for comparison:

Near the VERY end of the current buffer, I do a similar trick with a word-balloon-censored weenus, but I decided to actually render that one under there, so that when we get to it, I can be like, HEY YOU GUYS! DICK.

had someone tell me he ALWAYS drew the dicks that was mostly to tell where the censored part had to cover, though—boobs are annoyingly(?) easy to tell where they go

On one hand, fair enough on not drawing that particular detail, it's still cool to see either way. ...On the other hand, I am reminded of a comic that did patreon exclusive nude versions for their newer strips for a time.

Part of that was, yeah, I needed to outline where it... hangs. The nipple's always in the center! You don't gotta map out where it goes!

The funny thing to me is that this could have been posted as a conversation-free "hey look at these gals being pals" afterglow strip and it still would have worked; like, the dialogue-filled version obviously drives more character development, but other than the awkward missed fist-bump at the end it could just be the two of them being...well, okay, still awkward, but just enjoying a moment. Or maybe I just like watching these two being dorks with each other, and that's clouding my judgement.

I really liked this one, and this is what I really wanted to get from this Patreon, although ideally with nipples :) Basically, casual nudity in situations where it makes sense (without strategically placed objects) rather than outright sex.

Dear Damnyouwillis, is there a chance you might rework this a little bit and add the nipples? No idea how much work that would be or whether it's possible at all, just asking - would love to see that and imagine that would have been the proper daily strip... ;-)
