pretty heated game of scrabble, huh this is going to be an obnoxious thing to point out but i love how the background of this piece is literally just this angle of the loft bed from your asset bank (which i recognize bc i spent so long airbrushing out song lyrics on panels with this background for the paramore dub), which has the side effect of joyce and dorothy (and dorothy's book) having noticeably thinner lineart than everything else in their environment. to be clear i think this is fine, and joyful and whimsical even, it's just also something that tickled me about this. (anyway. good art, good theocracy, taking this as full-on confirmation that joyce is an exhibitionist bc that sure is just, full-on fucking, right in front of sarah)
