Hello ali cats, I’m here to present you with another ramble! This one is a little different. Not only was it recorded during the hurricane but I also used my Tascam instead of my 3Dio :P I don’ think the ASMR triggers picked up very well but hey, some things are worth trying! Nonetheless, I hope you enjoy the yapping :3

**I wanted to make a note that it was Piplup who I was talking about when I rambled about Pokemon haha! 🤣

ASMR audio is subjective but personally I enjoyed the the sound of the tascam. I will agree that the triggers did not pick up well, but the whispers sounded great.

It's good to know that you haven't had any major problems with the hurricane. Some of the footage I've seen even from the more interior states looks pretty bad. I'm sorry you had to suffer, but I enjoyed the absolute, passionate disgust in your voice as you talked about those veggie chips, haha. I can't say I've ever had anything like that. I think the closest I've come were those veggie straw things. They're like cheese puffs but supposedly healthier. They were aggressively mid but I know some people love them.

Again, glad to hear you stayed safe during the hurricane! Sounds like you missed the brunt of it like I did, had a bunch of short 1 second blackouts Friday morning myself. That being said, one of my friends who had been MIA since Friday just reached out, and she is safe! Her and her fiancé are in Asheville which is pretty much completely cut off. Ya know, I honestly like the tascam audio, triggers are better on the 3dio, but i feel like straight talking is better on the tascam. Lol it's hilarious though that the semi-wholesome (only cause you got some dark audios lol) and 100% seiso asrmtist got a sponsorship offer by a 100% non-seiso adult toy company... haha Also, I know we talked about this before lol but diamond was the last pokemon game I seriously played before i drifted away from it, I loved it so I want to get the new one for the switch! Also, I think I now know what brand of veggie chips you had ... I've tried them before, never again, horrid!!! I just stick with regular kettle chips or popcorners lol and I'm the same way with trying new foods, love trying new things! But that? Ugh isn't a good enough sound to describe it lol Also, my dad did the same thing with memes lol

The tascam picks up your voice pretty well! I liked the collar bone tapping...it most certainly did not make me think of flat jokes to pair with it... >.> However, it did get me thinking...The sponsor you were offered, I can only come up with two possible reasons behind it. Yes just two no more no less, this is an absolute of the world. Perhaps, just perhaps the company felt like they could help poor pettan Alichu, by giving her prosthetic...endowment? Yes, very possible. OR the more sinister approach, they are straight throwing shade at our dear Alichu. Look little Ali. Look at our large catalog of bouncing rubber bodies. Which leads me to believe the company is either an ally or the enemy....Flat is justice forever.

Props to you for standing with your beliefs on that sponsorship. I enjoy the onomatopoeia triggers and like others have said the Tascam picks up your whispers quite nice, but the collar bone tapping was rather quiet. Those veggie chips are probably packed fully of preservatives. I feel the same way about Entenmann's chocolate donuts, they have a weird wax-like coating that makes me dislike them. I love some nice me-mes.

Luckily I don’t suffer migraines and stuff with weather but it might have something to do with the lower pressure associated with weather systems. Could be the sudden pressure change leads to pressure buildup in the sinuses which would cause headaches? If you get headaches when flying that might confirm it. Well I guess that’s a rabbit hole for me to go down later Not me hearing, “The water starter, the penguin. Not Piplup.” My guy, the ONLY penguin water starter is Piplup lmao I remember the vegetable chip post! I meant to comment on it because I did look it up, but yes, it probably was rancid oil if they used oil in the dehydration process. If not, it may have been the particular combination of veggies that were dried together. Apparently if different things are dehydrated together they can take on each other’s flavors which can lead to some really gross flavors overall. I also read a scientific paper on dehydration and uhhh…maybe spray-drying is to blame? I say maybe because it’s VERY technical so to me, this paper may as well have been written in a different language haha: “Menting et al. (1970a) found that diffusion coefficients of volatile compounds in maltodextrins were dependent on water content and on the size of the diffusants, which was suggested to affect flavor retention in dehydration processes. Menting et al. (1970b) studied retention of volatile components in drying of liquid foods. Their results suggested that at high water contents, the loss of volatile compounds was defined by their volatility. At low water contents, the diffusion coefficients of volatile compounds became the rate-defining factors. It was concluded that in spray-drying most of the flavor compounds were lost during formation of the liquid droplets, since at later stages of the dehydration process the slow diffusion of flavors to the droplet surface facilitated retention.”
