Hello Ali cats! Tomorrow you’ll be taking a trip into the void so prepare yourself :3 And no, it won’t be with Ash this time- she’s next week :P This poll will be for the one after and it’s space themed! Think space craft and a team of explorers, etc. when making your choice. This will determine the character’s relationship with you ✨

I think any of these could certainly be good, considering your writing i'm sure they could all be given a fun dynamic. :3 Buuut just personally if I was on an expeditionary team or other major function, it would make me feel the best about our situation if everyone I was working with were people I trusted and considered my peers in terms of competency and skillset. Not to say I wouldn't take care of a junior troop, or respect a senior officer, but... In my experience teams tend to work best when everyone is operating at the same threshold and are able to fluidly lead and follow together based off squad specializations. xD

sinoth

Gah, all great choices! I went with 'peer' to avoid any inherent power dynamic.

One of these days I think a yandere ship ai would be a interesting idea so like locking the ships doors so you can't leave and the like so a hal 9000 that's obsessed with the listener kinda vibes. Anyways i should probably sleep it's 2am my time lol. Have a good day and I hope the audios turn out good.

Kench

This is kinda funny, but before regular astronauts or even being on a Star Trek-esque crew, my immediate knee-jerk image on hearing "space explorers" was something like the Doctor and their companion on Doctor Who :P Not even sure which one I would prefer to be for an adventure, both relative positions of experience have their own charms, both are good. I feel like I might get to hear more Ali confidently talking about how the lore of the trip and the way the expedition works and taking charge if I'm the junior, though, so I might have a slight preference for that ^^ Also, fun fact, even though you'll usually only hear the words kouhai 後輩 and senpai 先輩, there's a hidden third option, douhai 同輩, for peers! It's not nearly as common, because in professional contexts even just a short while's difference in experience usually disqualifies peerhood and in school contexts you always hear doukyuusei 同級生 instead, but it's still there!

This sounds like a really fun idea I’m a big fan of Si fi stuff seeing as I love Halo, star wars transformers really anything nerdy lol. anything in space sounds cool Exploring the void maybe cataloging all the monstrous creatures maybe stopping by a certain cosmic restaurant with food that defys understanding for lunch sounds like a good time to me. As for the relationship to thee other person any of them should be interesting a peer working side by side on research in the void of us showing a junior the ropes of void safety and how not to get swallowed by an eldritch horror or a senpai teaching us the ins and outs of void travel while we’re in awe of how cool they are all sound fun I’m sure whatever you decide to do it will be awesome though!

Actually really cool idea, would love to see Hal-chan 9000 forcing me to be pampered lol

strobi100

What a great Idea!😁 I'm a total geek when it comes to Space thingies. Farscape was also really great!😁🫶🏻

Kraiden

All choices are quite interesting, and I'm curious how a senpai would lead us through space. But after our encounter with the Nekolings, I think we're more than ready to have our own kohai! We're experienced spacefarers, after all. :> It would be cool to show our junior all these surprising, alien things they never would've believed existed, and that not everything out there is out to get you. :3

Delta

Oh? Is this week an Ali's choice? Lol and ooh, can't go wrong with a space one! Especially since a great ship mod just came out for Starfield which is... well a game about where you join a group of space explorers lol

" 'Give you more coffee so you can finish your research for high command?' I'm sorry [listener] I cannot do that, you MUST sleep. I have deployed a minor neurotoxin to put you in a more relaxed state (relaxing spraying noises)." The script writes itself

Moy

I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite ASMR channel on the Citadel. Lol Idk if you have ever played Mass Effect, but I think it's a great sci-fi trilogy. And I voted for the Junior. I like sci-fi and the thought of space exploration a lot. If I'm exploring space, I want to call the shots! 😼

Secular Succotash

Had to go with the senior/senpai, lord knows my ass is always choosing the most *ahem* mature character. I’m nothing if not predictable lol

I can see that for sure! If it were exploration I’d probably feel more comfortable having someone more knowledgeable than me close by. In most everyday life situations though, I definitely enjoy the dynamic you described that lets everyone shine and do their best as needed :D

>>163765353

Oh man that sounds really cool! I’ll make a little note of that idea for a potential future story ✨

>>163765510

Ohh that’s interesting, thanks for sharing that Kench! I’m ashamed to admit that I haven’t studied Japanese in a bit like how I used to >///< That’s definitely something I’d like to make a priority again! As for the space audio, I already have an idea that I’m excited to write! Now it’s just seeing what perspective you all want it from which is equally exciting for me >w<

I know a lot you all like space and sci-fi things so I’m really excited to make this one! I also hope your vacation is going well Releo :D

I’m a winner regardless as any choice is going to be fun to write for me! I’m really excited for this one >w<

alichuart
>>163779601

Ali’s choice indeed! :D I feel like it’s been a bit since I’ve done a proper space story so I’m excited for this one ✨

Haha I love that first sentence xD I’ve never played Mass Effect but am a little familiar with it from seeing others play! I’m honestly fine with any choice that wins but a junior would be very cute for this theme (especially since my nerdiness comes out the most in fantasy instead lol) :P ❤️

I dig the honesty- I respect those who aren’t afraid to speak what they like! 😤 ✨

Aww man I'd love to see it! I've honestly considered getting into script writing but I don't really have time for it. I have loads of asmr ideas that I keep on my notes though! I hope it ends up being used.

Thank you it’s been awesome went to an aviary I’ve got so many photos to post tomorrow

alichuart
>>163765353

You should! I know some people struggle with writing so I’m sure there’s plenty of VAs out there that would be very appreciative. I get the time thing though, it can be hard sometimes!

Delta
>>163779601

Heck yea! Space is awesome! Now out of curiosity, is our choice what we'd be to the next character, or what they'd be to us? :P cause I chose senior of it's the character since well.. imagining the listener as the newbie on the crew lol
